What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Treehouse Learning Center as a family-owned daycare that provides quality education in a caring, fun atmosphere. The owner Mr. David and staff are highly present and responsive to parent concerns, with children showing strong academic and social development. Multiple parents report their children transitioned successfully and were excited to attend.
I wouldn't trust this daycare. Staff is in and out and inconsistent. David is shady director/owner. This place is money hungry. My child was on a scholarship and he unenrolled her due to missed pymt of $67. Wrote me once I left to tell me he unenrolled. There are much better daycare in gahanna for your child to attend that is also bigger, fhis place is small! Please avoid this daycare. He's in it for money also thinking your daycare is supposed to run smoothly every single day is crazy while dealing with children....very overpriced and the fees go up. Beware. He also BEGGGED me to do this google review so there you got it.
My experience as a TLC parent has been nothing short of exceptional!! Treehouse is a blend of education and fun in a family-owned atmosphere. It has a completely unique feel compared to corporate chains. The center is actually inside a ranch house-turned daycare located admist a cute residential neighborhood in Gahanna. Tuition rates are shockingly affordable, while providing breakfast, lunch and snack for 12 months and up. They have long time staff such as Ms. Sam and Ms. Johanna. The owners are extremely invested and present on a daily basis. Of course any daycare is going to have turnover, that's the nature of the business. If there happens to be a staff change in the infant room, the owners are always transparent and assuring. I feel comfortable knowing that the veteran teachers and owners are always looking after my daughter, even if they're not assigned to her room. I can go to work knowing my daughter is safe, learning and having fun. Before coming to Treehouse in January, I tried two other daycares where my then 10-month old NEVER slept and had crocodile tears every pick up. I was so nervous about switching her yet again. Her very first day at TLC, they managed to get her to take a 3 hour nap!! To me, that shows she was instantly comfortable. Treehouse also impressed me with their fun summer program. They will have mystery reader day, dress up day, water day and more! Teachers will send lots of pictures in the app to give parents a sneak peak of their day :) Thank you Trehouse for all you do!!!!!
This center is beyond repair. There are barely any licensing rules being followed. Staff is not trained, the owner is rude and does not care about the building as he is rarely there. The kids are mistreated (literally heard a teacher there tell the kids to shut up multiple times). The building is dirty and not maintained. It’s truly a sad place. I guess if you’re looking for a baby sitter take your kids there. If you want them to actually learn and be taken care of, I suggest elsewhere.
My daughter started daycare at Tree house when she was 4 yrs old. Since her 5th bday was after august l opted to have her stay at Tree House Learning without a second thought. This was my daughter’s 3rd daycare n the only place l felt comfortable and she enjoyed being at. Academically she excelled very well at her age. Socially she made good friends, new them by name n would talk about her classmates n teachers with excitement. We never fought to come to daycare it was always fun going to school. My daughter loved the fun summer programs they had this year including the water pads, pj day, dress up day etc. Mr Davis the owner of the daycare n his family are always available and present majority of the school. I did appreciate his openness about some of the challenges they faced with the staff but always l could tell he cared for the quality and the type of care the children were getting at the school. My daughter only left due to our move to another city otherwise l would have gladly had her stay at Tree House Learning Center. Keep doing the good work.
