Towne Square Academy

As a concerned individual, I am compelled to share my concerns regarding the subpar conditions at this childcare center. The staff, comprised of friends and family members, provides a lunch menu that does not accurately represent the meals served. Additionally, children of different ages are grouped together in a single class due to a shortage of teachers, resulting in an unfavorable staff-to-child ratio. Regrettably, the staff often exhibits unprofessional behavior, including gossiping about parents and children. Physical discipline is also used in the bathrooms, and children are flipped off mats during naptime. The director's nonchalant attitude towards staff behavior is alarming, and parents are rarely informed of incidents. The center's lack of structure and unprofessional atmosphere is concerning, and I strongly advise against enrolling children here. If your child is already enrolled, I recommend regular unannounced visits to ensure their well-being.

My twins began their journey at Town Square Academy on Racetrack Road when they were nearly three years old, and they are now four, soon to turn five in April. After a distressing experience at their previous daycare, this establishment has proven to be exceptional. The staff demonstrates remarkable patience and affection towards my children. The facility is consistently clean and has a pleasant aroma. Upon pick-up, my children are always clean and dry. The educators actively engage them in learning spelling words, shapes, and other subjects. The staff is so great; everyone is very friendly. My son always enjoys his days and the daycare is very clean. We're new to the area so my son hasn't attended for long and I haven't been able to receive pictures throughout his day (internet issues) but it doesn't worry me. We'll be leaving at the end of the month because my child will attend a program at the local public school but I expect we'll be back in the summer. Highly recommend.

Town Square Academy was a wonderful find for us after an abrupt change in daycare plans. Ms. Linda and the entire team welcomed us with open arms and graciously cared for our children. Despite our kids being older now, we’ve built lasting relationships—they still check on us, and we check on them. We have had a fantastic experience at Town Square Academy (TSA). Before enrolling our child here, he attended two other childcare centers, where he often cried at drop-off, which was heartbreaking for both of us. I even found myself late to work several times because I couldn’t bear to leave him in that state. Fortunately, TSA has been a game changer. Every morning, when I drop him off, he is all smiles, which gives me peace of mind. The staff is incredibly caring and attentive, making both parents and children feel safe and comfortable.
