Totally Kids Childcare Center

I normally don't leave reviews, but I am in disbelief with what took place with this daycare on Monday (10/4). We were referred to this daycare by a friend. From day one communication was off. When we enrolled him in daycare my wife let Nekeisha and Ms. Jackie our pay schedule and asked if it was okay to pay when we got paid. When I told this to Ms. Jackie, she said that was okay. My sons first day was 9/28 my wife dropped him off that morning and nothing was said about making a payment. When I picked him up, I was greeted by Nekeisha with “How are you going to make your payment today”. I instantly asked how payments are supposed to be made she said cash app or cash. I was surprised to hear a daycare take payments thru cash app. I made the payment right then and there. She never told me what day I should make payments so I just assumed I would make the payments when I picked up on Mondays. Nekeisha never speaks when I go to pick up my son, she goes the other way or turns her back. My sons first week in daycare he came home with a rash on his cheek and a bump on his head the following day. Ms. Jackie is a very nice lady, but her daughter Nekeisha Gilbert is not. She is considered the face of the daycare and the one that handles all the paperwork. She dropped him off at 7:30am on 10/4 and nothing was said about a payment. At about 8:00am Nekiesha contacted my wife on Facebook asking for her cash app tag. She then went on to say that “Facebook is the main way we communicate with children’s parents”. That was the most unprofessional thing I had ever seen or heard of. I completed an information packet that had my number and my wife’s number so I wasn’t sure on why she would search Facebook to write my wife instead of calling or texting her about the payment. My wife told her she would make the payment Nekisha then went on to say that was his last day and we needed to come get him. STAY AWAY from this daycare. Ms. Jackie is nice her husband is just there he doesn’t really know what’s going on Ms. Jackie is always sitting in the corner on her phone. The little baby that started a few weeks ago just cries all day and they ignore her. I would look for a real daycare for my child. Run from this one they won’t tell you about your kids’ day unless you ask. This daycare is basically like your family babysitting your kids for the day the hours are 7:30am-5pm (which suck) you don’t know when your child was changed, what they ate for breakfast, lunch, or snack. They don’t even tell you what they learned for the day. I would weigh my options before going with this daycare yes, they are cheaper but cheaper isn’t always better.

I have to say that I love this daycare. I searched a lot before I chose a daycare bc for me if you walk into a daycare and the first thing you smell is dirty diapers its an absolute no for me. I promise this is the cleanest daycare I think I have ever stepped foot in and my daughter seems to love it! I only wish you guys opened a wee bit earlier!

My experience with this daycare from the beginning was not good, the director of this place has a very ugly attitude, after 5 months she had a better attitude, at the end my daughter had an accident in the face, where I had to take her to the Doctor,why I left my children in this daycare? , because ms Jackie is the best person in this place. I am not happy

My daughter loves them. I was so nervous about daycare but as soon as we walked in and spoke to them I knew it was a good decision.
