To The The Moon And Back Childcare & Day Care Center

Now know as Bridge to Beginnings, the daycare was great until it wasn’t. The communication with parents is awful, they were lazy and didn’t want to take my child to the potty and would put her in a pull up. They had a new hire that was not nice to my child and made her scared to go, when I brought this up with the owner, she told me she wasn’t going to do anything about it. There are so many other great daycares that will listen and put the child first, pick those and not this one.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst daycare in my opinion. My child was recently kicked out for biting (which was learned after they started going there). My 2 biggest issues with this facility is the lack of supervision that is provided and the lack of communication. The employees are always on their cell phones when we picked my child up. My child recently went to the ER due to falling. It makes me wonder if they were even watching my child or just playing on their cell phones. As far as communication goes, you are only allowed to talk to them on the mobil app. No parents are allowed behind the doors. When the biting issues started to happen and I was told my child would be kicked out if it didnt stop, the owner called around to other daycares and warned them about my child becuase I would be looking for a new place. This business is shaddy. My child is now at a new facility and has not bite once. The issue was the childcare, or lack of.

This is bridge to beginnings now. I am only giving one star so I can post my review. My youngest was kicked out due to biting. They asked me to pull her a week before to see if some time away would help. I understand that. She went back the following week (she had not bit once while she was gone) and within two days of being back she bit 4 times. I asked them if they had cameras and if I could look at the footage which they said no. The owner then said that she was biting because she was over stimulated and needed to be around less kids.. when I asked why that isn’t something they have been doing since they are a daycare center she kicked out both my kids. I love the workers they are amazing with the kids. But the owner is not. She is rude and fights with everyone and makes Facebook post on her personal page every time there is a problem. She never answered a single question of mine.

My son attends at the daycare. He is always smiling and having fun!! While learning everyday. Miss Lindsay is a wonderful infant teacher who engages with each children. She cares and loves them. Highly professional staff!

I looked at the daycare today and I like like the locked door when you first walk in I like the each glass is separated. Overall the best in muscatine.
