The place is awesome couldn't ask for a better Church
I am new to the church. They were very nice to take the time to reach out to me. That is important when somebody takes the time for you and I am grateful. People are very nice. I did hear some good truth. They have 2 different styles of worship. Its ok but I guess I need a deeper experience. What they are doing is to try to spread the Gospel and it's good - it's what Jesus commanded us to do. But I'm a person who has had quite the life full of joys and sorrows and I've had a test of faith so intense that I guess I really need Christians who really know the score. I need very "real" worship. I am not knocking the church. They try very hard to welcome and that's a good thing. It's commendable. But I think in trying to create a worship scenario where everybody is happy, I guess it felt bland and "sanitized" to me. So I'm not saying I won't go back and it's a good church. But I just felt I could not connect. It's not the church's fault - God will lead me where He wants me but so far it's not happening I feel modern worship tries harder to reach more people, but a lot just gets lost along the way. I am grateful for their welcome. Somebody did get a little testy with me which I'm discovering is a Nebraska thing I guess (I'm new in NE too). Who knows? I might come back but I sure do long to find a church where I really feel an encounter with God and my brothers and sisters in Christ. So far I don't feel I've found it.
