Walther is truly a magical place! My son William attended and is now 16. He still to this day talks about the reading loft (no shoes allowed!) Gloria, Brenda and Zilda, yoga with Amy and all the beautiful memories. The community is incredible. Lifelong friends were made. If you are fortunate enough to send your child to this very special and unique school, count yourself very blessed.
The Walther School was the perfect pre-school for me and my husband and our twin sons. I would also argue that it is the perfect place for new or anxious parents as we were. The warm, welcoming and joyous atmosphere is a reflection of the school's founder and principal Gloria Walther. We quickly became friends with and have remained many years later with families we met at Walther. When our sons moved to their new school they were prepared and ready to progress.
The Walther School, led by Gloria, has had a profound effect on the lives of our children and us as parents. I don't think we have ever experienced an educator as wise, gifted and dedicated as Gloria and our years at Walther have stayed with us and continue to have a wonderful impression on us. When my mother died, Gloria was the first person I called to see how we should tell our daughters and, as always, her advice was so perfect. Recently, Gloria called us to congratulate us on our daughters' college admissions which meant so much and shows how continues to be so important to us. We can't recommend this school more highly!
The Walther School is a magical place--both for children and parents. Gloria and her amazing team sprinkle fairy dust on everyone! Your children grow and evolve in a gorgeous, nurturing environment and so do you. My kids finished up at Walther almost fifteen years ago, and some of their lifelong besties are their fellow preschool classmates. I wish there were a 100 star option here!
