We have had over 14+ years of experience with Happy Notes since they were in West Hollywood. They have valuable and loving teachers who truly care about the children. They are caring, nurturing and offer plenty of activities and education. The Russian and English based lessons are incredible and your kids will actually retain what they learned and use it for the rest of their lives. They also offer meals that aren't your typical school snacks, but nutritious and delicious recipes that you would get from your grandmother's house. Cannot recommend them enough.
Happy Notes Day Care is truly a hidden gem in Van Nuys. One of the things that sets it apart is how small and personal the program is. Because they only take a limited number of kids, the teachers are able to give each child individual attention. You can really tell they know each child’s personality, strengths, and needs. It feels like a second home, not just a daycare. Our child has learned so much here—not just academics, but social skills, creativity, and confidence. We’re so grateful we found them!
My son was kicked out of kindergarten for bad behavior, and I brought him to Happy Notes because this kindergarten was not far from our house. And now I am glad that everything worked out this way, because Irina and Natalia are amazing! I am absolutely calm and confident that everything will be fine with my son. We are learning English, Russian, doing math. The food is very tasty and homemade. I like it very much, and my son has never once said that he doesn't want to go to kindergarten. Always goes with joy! Definitely recommended!
I’ve been impressed with Happy Notes for many years, since my youth. Ever since I attended the daycare myself, the staff are always chosen with great regard; they are knowledgeable, and incredibly warm and caring, always making the children feel loved and welcome. Happy Notes is clean, safe, and full of engaging activities that promote learning and fun. They also have a Sunday School program with a variety of activities. My brother looks forward to every visit, and I feel confident knowing he is in such great hands. I highly recommend this daycare for anyone looking for a caring, structured, and enriching environment for their young ones!

My daughter loved going there with a great time spending , learning, entertaining. People working their very caring , family oriented who providing kids safe and caring environment with a lot of activities and learning , not mentioning that your child can improve or learn Russian language. My daughter enjoyed going there which made me more happy and peaceful , just now I realized that I never had a second taught that my child not safe or something may happen . I knew that she well take cared , fed, rested and leaned something new .
