The Village

I have the worst experience ever with this place. My almost 3 year old autistic daughter was place in a room with a hanging platform swing which i already knew that was not good but kept quiet until one day i walked in and a 4 year old child was swinging on it and one of the female worker and i witness my daughter getting hit on the side of her head full swing as my daughter approach me and the impact threw her off her feet and they refuse to write an incident report because she wasnt bruised or bleeding even though she was crying in pain. I ask to talk to the person in charge and they called Natalie in. she told me accidents happens all the time showing no concern about my child didnt even bother to look at my child to see if shes ok. She seem to be defensive when question why its in there when my child have no awareness but every time i question about my child or have any concern about her she seems upset and defensive. The platform swing was back up the next day with my child in that same room like nothing matters. She even belittle me telling me i get the services for free through CVRC and that other parents pay lots of money for their child to be there so i should take advantage of the services provided to me. They seem to not know much about my child's behavior and because i have reported how my child and i was being treated there, they retaliate and call the cps on me because my child was stimming (rocking) when shes putting herself to sleep and they accuse/assume it may be sexual related. Ive had it with them so i decided to remove my child from this place because i dont feel my child is being treated with love and compassion and that they are only there for a paycheck not actually caring for these special kids. If u love your child please dont put them here because its all smiles until your child is hurt or you have concerns or find out something is wrong youll get a different attitude. The best choice i made was removing my child from here.

If you have an autistic child DO NOT GO HERE or use there BIA services. They are about money only and will not care about your family or child. In the long run they will hurt your family more than help. Unfortunately A LOT of companies are jumping on the Autism bandwagon to make money and Monique the head of this organization is nothing more than a money hungry women with NO true knowledge of what families who are living with an autistic children actually need. Please i urge you not to go here if you care about your child. Because it will be a BIG mistake. Feel free to email me and i will give you detailed accounts of there services.

Worse experience for child or parent. Dir Sonia is unstable. Monique will not meet with parents abt concerns! Its their way or the highway. They depart from stated methodology and retaliate when questioned about their practices that injure children. Do not use them!!

BEST PRESCHOOL PROGRAM IN FRESNO !!! My children are the most important thing in the world and I look at every "top" preschool in Town. The Village is by far the best center for all children. It's MAGICAL, its AMAZING, I promise! Definitely worth checking out.

This school is amazing! Wonderful staff and children! I'm so blessed to have mine there!
