This facility has a troubling history of serious violations, including new ones documented in January 2026 by the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care. Including safety and oversight issues, yet the center continues to operate. Concerns extend to the directors and staff, whose personal behaviors and associations raise major red flags about suitability to care for children. Including issues like substance abuse indicators, domestic disturbances, and direct threats documented with local police and other appropriate agencies. Even more concerning: When following up with one state agency, staff confirmed the only contact info on file is the daycare's address and direct phone number—no additional owners, board of directors, or responsible parties listed beyond the on-site directors. The mall office only has one director's cell phone as contact. This complete lack of transparency about actual ownership or governance is highly unusual and raises serious concern about accountability in a childcare setting. Children deserve a safe, stable environment. With ongoing violations and risks, I strongly urge parents to look elsewhere and check the state's Child Care Safety Portal for full details before enrolling. Protect your kids!
I couldn't say enough fantastic things about The Village Preschool! I am a mother of soon to be 5 children who I plan to have all of them present in the Village programs. They have helped me raise my children since I was a single mother of 1, and they have not only taught my children so much - but also myself. After 7 years, they have grown to be family. They have been such a blessing that I could have never imagined when signing the registration paperwork for the first time in 2017. Mr & Mrs. C are the most fabulous educators you will come across state-wide, while their assistants are all incredible in each of their own ways.
My children have been going to the village daycare for years and love to go every day. All the teachers are amazing and love their job and love the children. My children love to pick on Mr. C and Pedro.
My kids have been going here for several months now and love it. Mr.C and Ms.Cindy and staff are amazing to work with on everything. They really care for the kids in their daycare. If you want a safe and fun place for your kiddos to go please send them their way.
My hubby & I absolutely love the Village!! As does our son, 5, and daughter, almost 3. Our kiddos go part time and I love that they are flexible with how you use your hours and also that they’re accepting of our not-quite-potty-trained daughter. Travis & Cindy do a wonderful job running this daycare & preschool; They are extremely sweet, kind, accommodating, generous, supportive, communicative, and understanding. They, and all the teachers, are also just excellent with all of the kiddos. We’ve seen an improvement in behavior in our son from coming to this preschool as well. I’ve also heard that when kiddos start kindergarten, the schools are always stoked to get kiddos from the Village as they are the most advanced in their knowledge & learning. I highly recommend this preschool, as I often do to all my friends who don’t already attend here.
