1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed with Sunshine House, Loganville ⭐ I’m very disappointed with how Sunshine House in Loganville has handled my account and concerns. For over a year, I’ve experienced serious billing issues — including duplicate charges, inconsistent weekly invoices, and a CAPS refund I’ve still not received. Despite raising these issues multiple times with the center director, I was told not to worry and that the billing department would resolve everything. But months passed with no clear explanation, only more confusion. To make matters worse, I started seeing repeated late payment fees, even though I was advised not to pay while they investigated the billing issues. Now they’re asking me to pay the full amount — including fees and duplicate charges — without ever giving me a breakdown or resolving my original concerns. When I contacted the regional director and corporate office, their response was dismissive: “Pay, or your children can’t return.” This is not acceptable. As a parent, I expected transparency and accountability, not silence and threats. I’ve been patient, followed their advice, and tried to resolve this properly, but I’ve been met with nothing but avoidance and pressure. I do not recommend this daycare to any parent. Be careful — you could end up paying for their internal mistakes with no support or resolution. My trust has been completely broken, and I hope other families don’t go through what I’ve experienced.
This review is long overdue. From the moment we walked in for the tour, we felt welcome. Everyone at the school is so welcoming, kind, and loving. My son was a student in the infant classroom and we loved his teachers. They always went above and beyond to care for my son and communicate about how he was doing and what he needed. As someone who didn't want their child in daycare, I had peace having my child in their care daily.
THIS PLACE IS MORE THAN SUNSHINE! My daughter enrolled at the Sunshine House of Loganville almost 8 weeks ago. As someone returning to law enforcement, I was extremely anxious about placing my daughter in the hands of anyone—her safety and happiness are my top priorities. But I was blessed to find this amazing team of caregivers: Ms. Pearlene (Admin) Ms. Louisette Ms. Natalie Ms. Joyce My 7-year-old daughter is autistic, and certain environments can be overwhelming for her. But when she stays busy doing things she enjoys, she thrives—and these ladies recognized that right away. They saw her love for knitting, arts and crafts, and they’ve made sure she stays engaged and excited. Because of them, she has a wonderful experience every single day. When I come to pick her up, she tells me I came too early—and that’s the best feeling in the world as a mom. I trust these women completely with my babygirl. They are kind, thoughtful, patient, and deeply committed to making every child feel valued and loved. Having a child with a disability can be overwhelming for most parents but they have made feel at ease despite her unique energy. I don’t worry about my daughter while I’m out protecting and serving the community, because I know she’s being protected and loved in their care. THANK YOU, SUNSHINE HOUSE, FOR LOVING MY BABY LIKE SHE’S YOUR OWN. If you're looking for a place where your child can grow, feel safe, and be genuinely cared for—choose the Loganville Sunshine House. My experience has been nothing short of amazing. 🌹 I don’t hand out flowers often, but this team deserves a whole bouquet of roses! 🌹
The minute I entered this daycare I knew they were so loving. Ms Amber and Ms Dina the infant teachers, treated my son like their own. Kai absolutely adores them. The administration staff changes often but still great people. The director is thoughtful and works with you no matter the issue. There are like a big family in there. My questions are always answered. My son is in the 1 yr old class now and when I say Ms Brandalynn is one great teacher, she is absolutely the BEST. Very patient and really loves her group of kids. The staff are so thoughtful and celebrated my son becoming a big brother with a party 🎉 🥹. I know my daughter will be taken care of once I enroll her shortly and they will make the whole transition easier for me.
I had contacted them over the summer relating to starting my son in their daycare and Everything was going fine until I mentioned that he had Special needs… Then all of a sudden it has to be processed by a different department that never called me back. I called them, sent emails, and stopped by in person multiple times and nobody ever attempted to even try to call me back with him starting at their facility. Teachers at my son’s school mentioned that daycares in the area were notorious for not wanting to take children with special needs because the inconvenience they may cause relating to their staffing… I didn’t want to believe them But now I have no choice because they were completely disregarding my child starting at their facility and found every way imaginable to turn us away.
