What Parents Say
The Spanish Academy Emory/Decatur Campus receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents praising its Spanish immersion program, caring staff, and engaging curriculum. One parent reported dissatisfaction with the summer program's lack of foundational instruction for beginners and communication issues with management.
We just finished up a few weeks of Summer Camps for our 3 year old. The staff is always very helpful and the camps are excellent. Each camp session has a different theme and we receive flash cards to print out at home that were helpful preparing our son for his time there so the curriculum for even summer camps is at least thought out. There were always lots of time for play for the kiddos and learning along with it. We appreciated the pictures of his time there as well. It’s a great break from the normal school year. I wish they had a little more after care as the half day camps are sometimes tough to manage but all in all we were very happy about our time here!
We have loved our time at the Spanish Academy Emory! All three of our girls have attended/are still attending TSA Emory for their preschool years, and we could not be happier with the immersive education experience they have received. My eldest has gone on to attend a dual-language elementary school and has thrived - all because of the foundation she received at the Spanish Academy. The director and teachers are kind, loving, caring, enthusiastic and have been so easy to work with. My kids love going to school! There are also many opportunities to be involved and spend time in the classroom as a parent. We are so thankful to have found TSA and would highly recommend to anyone seeking a fun and engaging immersive educational experience for their little one!
We love The Spanish Academy! Our two-year-old son attended for an academic year and over the summer. The immersion program works well, our son was speaking Spanish at school and at home. We felt confident that our son was truly loved by his teachers. After an unfortunate event, the principal was able to work with our family and went above and beyond to help us in a time of need. Principal Ara is understanding and compassionate. Due to relocation, we were only able to attend one year, however, our son still talks about The Spanish Academy. We are grateful that school made a lasting positive impression.
We are so glad we found the Spanish Academy! The teachers and all the staff at Emory are incredibly welcoming, caring and kind to all the kids and the parents. Our daughter loved to go to school everyday and not only did she grow her vocabulary in Spanish every school year, but also her confidence grew as the teachers are very experienced and making sure each kid feels at ease in the classroom. We could not be thankful enough for this amazing school.
We have had the wonderful opportunity to send both of our girls (ages 4/2) to the Spanish Academy. We have loved the staff and teachers who have cared for our girls the past two years. We are especially grateful to see how our girls have lost the fear of speaking Spanish. Our oldest had a hard time speaking it which frustrated her and many times made her adamant to not speak it at home prior to going to the Spanish Academy. We now see her confidence growing and initiating conversations with grandparents and other Spanish speaking friends. That alone has been worth its weight in gold. Not only have we seen amazing results in their speaking and understanding of Spanish, but have loved the family community this school has been for us. I can’t recommend enough.
