The Volen Center in Boca Raton has been such a blessing for my mother and me. From the very first day, the staff has gone above and beyond to make her feel welcome, comfortable, and truly cared for. Every interaction has been filled with kindness, warmth, and genuine attention. We’ve had the pleasure of meeting SJ, Valerie, John, Judy, Ilene, and of course April, and each of them has made such a positive impact. They greet my mother with a smile, take the time to engage with her, and create an environment where she feels like she truly belongs. Their caring nature has made her look forward to coming every single day, which speaks volumes about the heart of this team. In addition to the warm staff, my mother now enjoys participating in chair exercise class with Blanca, art class with Paula, daily trips, and the live entertainment. These activities have added so much joy to her days and have truly enriched her life. As a teacher, I know that when I go back to school, I will feel completely at ease—much like a parent leaving a child at school for the first time—because I know my mother is in good hands. I can drop her off in the morning with confidence and pick her up after, knowing she has been cared for, engaged, and happy. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Volen Center for treating my mother not just as a guest, but as part of a family. I volunteered for the carnival event, and I was so impressed with the staff and the activities that they provide to the seniors. The building was also very clean, and I noticed all the buses that they had to help transport the seniors.
I wasn't acceptable because of mental illness. It took me a lot to go for a tour. She asked about me. My honesty wasn't acceptable. Maybe I should of lied like most people do. I will never recommend. Discrimination is at work

Very friendly atmosphere. Everyone there were very inviting from the staff to the seniors attending. There were many games going on like dominoes, card game, word search, coloring, board games, etc. They have a snack bar that has coffee you can purchase. You can also order lunch from TooJay's at a discounted price. They serve breakfast and lunch. They have outings and weekly "lunch bunch" that go to a different restaurant every week. They also have other activities like billiard, painting classes, crochet sewing room, current events discussion, health discussion, chair exercise, computer room, and language classes.They have a bus service that will pick you up and brings you back home. I would highly recommend this place for your loved ones.
