What Parents Say
Most reviews praise the staff as caring, hardworking, and trustworthy with excellent cleanliness and child-centered care. However, two serious negative reviews allege racial discrimination and neglect, including a safety incident where an infant fell from a swing and staff failed to immediately report it.
If I could post zero stars I most definitely would. This center is the absolute worst the Caucasian director and Caucasian teachers discriminate against African American Teachers, parents and children. They treat them and the kids from the shelter completely wrong and different from the Caucasian children. The staff sits around and talks horribly about the African American Teachers and Families, we have been told that they say our kids are dirty and filthy and they are not. They have a horrible lice infestation in the facility that they have not properly treated and the director knowingly has children still in there with the lice. She has a nasty attitude towards parents and will send home kids for anything all the time. They change teachers out every other week and can’t keep teachers at all. I highly advise against this place.
The staff is amazing, kind, inclusive, honest, trust worthy, hard working, and love these children. Cleanliness is top notch. For the price, you will not find better care in downtown Lexington.
This facility is child forward. Working with all children, of all types, with all needs. Meeting them where they are. Could not recommend a better place in the Lexington area to bring your child for a trusted and safe learning environment.
Director is the best at her job. Very well run establishment. If you’re looking for a place that really cares for kids look no further
I have multiple kids that use all the services year round. The administration, teachers and staff are all so friendly and attentive to my family and their needs.
