I enrolled two of my kids here at The Preschool Academy and at first they both had separation anxiety from being home with me for 3 years. The staff made my son and daughter feel safe and welcomed them with open arms. They made them feel safe and after a few days they were waving bye to my husband and I. Mrs. Corbin has a wonderful staff and runs this facility the way a business should be ran. I would recommend them to any of my family and friends. Thanks for such great service and thank you for what you do!
My daughter is enrolled at The Preschool Academy in the infant room. As a new mom, I was nervous about sending my daughter to daycare but it has been nothing but a positive experience. The infant room teachers have been nothing short of amazing! They keep me up to date and at the beginning they did a great job at easing my anxiety and assured me that everything was going great! My daughter truly loves going to daycare and enjoys her teachers so much. This has been the greatest experience and I can’t wait to continue to watch her grow and learn at this wonderful establishment.
My family experience with this daycare wasn’t pleasant. There was an incident where my grandchild was able to run out of the daycare. We were informed when this happened other kids followed him out the door. Where was the supervision and why put the blame on the 2 yr old child?? Multiple times there were incidents where my grandchild came home with bruises and scratches. Some they were unaware of happening. When asked if they were aware there was no explanation. I would not recommend this day care to anyone under the current leadership.
My daughter has been going here for over a year now and she absolutely loves it! The teachers are awesome and they genuinely care about all of the children. They are flexible and understanding. I’ve known the current director, Mrs. Corbin for years and she has the biggest heart of anyone I know. I feel so relieved knowing my child is in good hands.
My husband and I have had a GREAT experience at The Preschool Academy! We have two children , one who attended The Preschool Academy until the age of four and moved on to public and one who attends now. We are so happy and satisfied with our experience. The staff is so loving and helpful! One of the things that we love about them is they have teachers that have been there for over 20 years! That says a lot about the school! We highly recommend this daycare! Do not let the negative reviews reflected play a part in your decision. I can honestly say that the negative reviews does not properly reflect the school and are not truthful. Please take a tour of the school and stay long enough to ask parents when they walk in their opinion of the school. Trust me a daycare that has been around this long, has teachers that have been there over 20 years, winner of 2017 best daycare/preschool in Athens is obviously doing something RIGHT! Another thing my husband and I love about them is they ALWAYS have Mother's Day celebrations, fathers day celebrations, grandparents day celebrations, family day celebrations, thanksgiving luncheons for families, Christmas Luncheons for families, and much more! Visit their Facebook page and look at the pictures of all the happy kids and parents who attend the school as well as community members! Mrs. Lacie is an AWESOME director!! My family LOVES TPA!!
