My family has been members at CRC for a long time. They offer a variety of different services and accepting of all race, gender, self-affiliations. The head rabbi Randi always has a smile a joke and a great ray of making you feel welcome. If you're looking for a forum congregation in the city this is your place. You will feel like family and be a member for life.
If you are Jewish or are interested in attending a Jewish service, Friday nights are a wonderful time to visit one of the most open, accepting, spiritual and friendly Temples I have ever come across. The service is Reform, but is a wonderful blend of traditional and progressive, and if you visit, make sure you leave your preconceptions at the door and enter with an open heart and mind. It is a jewel of the St. Louis area and the rabbis are there for any and all questions. I only wish I could go more often... πβ€οΈ
I absolutely adore this synagogue! What a warm community full of such diversity and inclusion. Everyone is welcome.
Such a beautiful building! Rabbi Susan gave me a walking tour of the magnificent mosaic in the anteroom, with the Old Testament stories rendered in Indian liturgical art styles. Such a wonderful syncretism and meaningful artistic creation! What a welcoming and open-hearted congregation!
I was at the 33rd annual world peace day and it was hosted at the synagogue this is a lovely location. They have excellent acoustics, comfortable seating a warm inviting atmosphere and they have an excellent kitchen for use by the people who are working an event. It is huge and spacious and well-equipped. It is always a delight to attend an event at the synagogue. I've gone to several World Peace Day events as well as a few bar mitzvahs. There is a loving warm spirit in this place and I enjoy going there great deal. Also the location is excellent the parking can be challenging so if you going to something give yourself maybe 15 extra minutes so that you can be sure to get a parking spot and make it to your event on time.
