Mt. Beulah was kind to let my church worship in their church while my church Greater Mt Carmel makes repairs from the recent tornado
I wish I had taken photos, but the excellence happened so quickly, I didn’t want to miss any of it by picking up my cell phone. I had to clap my hands and stand several times through this hour long service as the Rev. Dr. Shields Sr. and his choir, the drummer 😊, & the organist praised God.The word was good as well. Dr. Shields is a great speaker. Social distancing and other CDC guidelines were in place. To my surprise, the church fed us barbecued chicken, hot dogs and ribs, with potato salad, green beans and more in a drive-thru fashion as we exited the parking lot…and every bit of the food was good too. There was no cost. There was no separation of members from guests like me. Everyone was nice and Pastor Shields Sr. was very inspirational. I can see why he has been a successful leader so long and is also a mayor.
