The Montessori Preschool

Our two kids have been attending the Montessori Preschool full-time for the past two years. The staff at this school has become our second family as we are recent residents to the area and to Michigan. I have 100% trust in the staff and teachers at this school. They are extremely open and communicative to parents about the skills, milestones, social and academic progress our kids are garnering while transitioning into school age education. They have gone above and beyond the basic level of academic education provided by a school of this nature, and facilitate learning and experiences in all areas, including, nature, culture and social interactions. Not only do they love teaching, they are highly experienced, and an exceptionally caring staff. My children love coming to this school every day and even ask if they can go to school sometimes even on the weekends. I highly recommend this school. Their standards are on the highest level based on my experience.

My youngest attended The Montessori School of Five Points for three years. Besides preparing her academically and socially for Kindergarten, the teachers kept her safe, clean and happy. As an educator myself, one of the things I liked best about the center was the way the teachers worked together as a team. Everyone knew us, and made us feel like one of their family! The teachers seemed to enjoy working together, and always participated in things like spirit days, door decorating contests (they asked parents to judge!), Trunk or Treat, the company Summer Social, and the annual book fair. You could tell they worked well together during events such as the Thanksgiving feast, Breakfast with Santa, or the annual Easter egg hunt. We miss the teaching team (I think some of them have been there since they opened!) at The Montessori School, but I can honestly say that it’s because of the wonderful foundation and love of learning they gave my child that she’s the student she is today!

The Montessori Preschool is a very friendly and welcoming environment. My child has attended this school since 8 weeks and is now 3 years old. My child's teacher is very attentive and makes it a point to communicate daily about what is going on within the classroom. The staff in general are very helpful and go beyond.

Was looking for a daycare for a foster child in our care. Having raised three kids of my own, I have had a lot of experience with both in home and daycare centers. We are extremely happy with this place. Barb and her staff are great - always smiles on their faces and you can tell that they really care about the children. I would highly recommend Montessori Preschool, even for babies.

I cannot begin to say enough kind words about this location and the team that works there. To start, we had our daughter 10 weeks early and when she was released she would still have episode not to mention, needed I gave a whole sheet of instructions because we were nervous for her to be cared by anyone else but us. Her first days were once they had opened back up during Covid-19. Not only were the team kind and informative, they were willing to put up with me, a panicking mother. Her teacher is the BEST, Miss Carla, is always posting pictures using their app during the day and working with us to make sure she's hitting all of her developmental milestones. They care deeply about the kids here and even do fun arts and crafts with the kids -- they made a very cute one for her first fourth of July! Love the app, love the team, and their concern for my daughter. I cannot recommend this school enough!
