What Parents Say
Parents praise Little Souls for its creative, engaging learning environment, excellent outdoor facilities, and attentive, well-educated staff who foster children's development across multiple areas. However, one parent reported significant difficulties obtaining a deposit refund despite multiple attempts to contact the center over several months.
My 3.0. old daughter really likes Little Souls and clearly enjoys being there. She is very well taken care of and food is organic and delicious. The playground is very big plus there are seasonal activities (like water plays in the summer). Every day we receive reports by email on what's going on there. We really love Little Souls.
I just love this school and so does my son. Creative - loving - fun - everything I was looking for in a toddler/preschool space. One of the biggest assets is the excellent outdoor space and the teachers make the most of it. I really like the fact that if the weather is nice - they are outside. Sometimes daycares have very strictly scheduled outdoor time. Highly recommend.
Little Souls has excellent play and learning facilities, very well-educated and attentive staff, and an overall philosphy athat has really helped our two little girls. I cannot overstate how much they're helped our children grow. The attention and education they receive is amazing. Every day, we see new, positive changes - in language, relationships, motor skills, even math and science. The teachers (and they ARE teachers, not baby-sitters) take an active role in educating each child based on their learning styles and backgrounds. In the beginning, we loved our former daycare facility and were very apprehensive to drop our girls off at Little Souls. Today, we realize it's one of the best decisions we've ever made.
Registering my child was easy enough, paying the deposit (2 weeks tuition) was easy, but getting our deposit back has been a travesty. I paid a deposit six months ago to have my child start daycare at Little Souls this summer. At the time we paid the deposit, we were told it's just a matter of giving them two weeks notice if we no longer need the spot and we'd get a full refund. We gave three months notice to say we wouldn't be starting daycare on time because we've moved houses and the location no longer works. We're still waiting on our deposit refund. After five emails and several phone calls / voicemails, to which we get a response about 20% of the time, we're still waiting to get our money back. At this point, I don't know what else to do but to start looking into consumer protection recourses with the State Attorney General's office.
My kids love the teachers n they do a great job with keeping kids involved with learning activities.
