We couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Little School in San Francisco, especially in the TK program. From day one, it’s been clear how thoughtful, nurturing, and intentional the environment is. The teachers are truly exceptional: warm, patient, and deeply attuned to each child. Our daughter feels seen and supported every day, and the staff does an incredible job balancing structure with play, curiosity, and creativity. She comes home excited to tell us what she learned, what she built, and who she played with, which says everything. The TK curriculum strikes a wonderful balance between academic readiness and social-emotional development. We’ve seen so much growth in her communication skills, problem-solving, and self-assurance in a short time. Communication with families is also excellent. We transferred our oldest child to the Little School from another preschool and have had the best experience. Over the past 5 years, our 3 children have all had incredible, experienced, and loving teachers. The thoughtful and supportive communication from the school has been consistent over the years, and the focus on the kids - supporting inclusion with their peers while supporting their individual needs is unmatched in preschools in SF. Can't recommend the Little School enough!
The teachers at TLS are truly experts in early childhood education and they know and care deeply about every child. We feel very lucky to be part of the community and can’t recommend it enough!
