What Parents Say
Kinderhaus receives overwhelmingly positive feedback for its German immersion program, engaged staff, play-based curriculum, and strong community atmosphere. Most parents praise rapid language development, excellent teacher-to-student ratios, and abundant outdoor activities. One parent raised concerns about staff supervision and bullying behavior on the shared playground.
Our son absolutely loved his time at Kinderhaus! Within just a few weeks he became such a confident German speaker, which was amazing to watch. The teacher-to-student ratio is excellent, allowing for lots of individual attention and care. We especially appreciated how much time the kids spent outdoors, as well as the variety of activities like baking, crafts, and celebrating both German and international holidays. It’s a wonderful, warm community of families, and we’re already looking forward to sending our daughter there soon. Highly recommended!
Our child is in her third year here and we have loved seeing her grow each year. The staff is amazing and well-educated; it truly is german immersion and the teachers work with each family to meet them where they're at. The location is conveniently located on a playground, with access to other sports fields for soccer, among other outdoor activities. The community aspect is my favorite part, as a family who doesn't really have immediate relatives in the area. Highly recommend!
Kinderhaus is an incredible preschool. The staff has created an engaging, inclusive, and whimsical play-based curriculum. They use the surrounding facilities so it makes the total play space for the kids huge. It's amazing to see how quickly the kids become fluent in German. Highly recommended!
Dedicated, caring staff in a supportive, rich learning environment, our daughter has really opened up to other children and made some lifelong friends, all while developing her German skills. What an incredible development for the neighborhood to have such a positive learning environment in what has been a neglected and dangerous neighborhood playground!
Staff is horrible...They let there kids bully, push and shove other kids. Putting hands on other outside kids that come to the neighborhood play ground makes other parents second guest there staff..Staff will just sit there and watch there kids bully others with out a care or concern in the world. There's numerous occasions I've seen this happen and not just to my kid but others as well! It's ridiculous to have to come to our neighborhood playground to have to parent there kids as well as your own. Isn't that why there is a staff? Staff should be speaking to these kids and teaching them to not put there hands on others as well as bullying other kids! These kids don't seem like there getting the right care or being taught manners nor respect. I understand kids will be kids but once there kid is bullying and or putting there hands on another kid is definitely when the staff should be jumping in not just standing there and watching it all happen! Makes you wonder who your leaving your kids with daily!
