The Learning Tree receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents praising the caring staff, quality instruction, and supportive environment. However, a serious violation was documented in April 2025 involving a staff member physically hitting children, resulting in immediate termination. One parent also expressed concerns about the facility's Christian environment and military friendliness.
Doing research for childcare facilities and saw this violation during an inspection on 4/7/25: Rule Violated: Child was handled roughly. On April 7, 2025, around 3:30 pm during snack time, a staff member working in space 7 (cherry blossoms) witnessed another staff member hit a child on her hand with an open hand when she threw her crackers on the ground. The child cried so hard she vomited. The same staff member witnessed the same teacher hit another child with an open hand on her back when she would not be still while braiding her hair. This incident occurred towards the end of snack time. It was reported that this child did not cry. There were no marks observed on either child. The staff member was terminated immediately.
We have two children at the Learning Tree and have recommended them to anyone looking for a quality daycare for their kids. It is so hard as a parent to trust people to watch your babies, but the entire staff here is so sweet and caring and really helps ease your mind. Mrs. Mary in the infant room is an absolute delight - we are so blessed to have had her watch both of our kids during their first year of daycare. Our younger child is still in her loving care while our older son has spent time in many different classrooms here as he is now in the 2.5 year old room. Each of the teachers has their own unique style but he has enjoyed every one and has learned so much, from baby sign language to learning animals, colors, yoga, and even potty training! This school is absolutely wonderful
The Learning Tree came highly recommended by other parents. I can now say I completely agree. J.C the director is absolutely amazing. I am also greatful for my daughter's teacher's. She comes home everyday telling me all the new things shes learned. I would recommend this daycare to everyone.
My son began going to The Learning Tree on Tuesday. He talks to me constantly and recently we had a not so nice experience at his past preschool. Now, everyday he has been picked up has been a great one. He tells me every day that he loves his new school and that his teachers are "nice ladies" :) We are having a great experience thus far.
I wanted to wait until my daughter had been at TLT for at least a year before making my review. Now I can confidently say I can’t imagine my daughter going anywhere else. She has been there since she was 12 weeks old and absolutely loves it. I don’t have to worry during the day if she is well taken care of. My husband and I are expecting another baby this summer and plan to enroll him there as well. Thank you Learning Tree for your amazing staff and all that you do for our kids!
