We are so grateful for the Learning Tree! Our daughter has been there for 1.5 years and started the week she turned 2. We're happy with the teacher retention and we love all the teachers. My daughter even says several of the teachers are her best friends. One of the most important things to me in a daycare is the outdoor play area and the amount of outdoor time. Unlike many daycares that have an outdoor area that consists of astroturf on top of a blacktop, the learning tree has a nice big yard with a garden, and beautiful trees. My daughter loves playing water games outside on warm days. The director, Ms Amanda ensures the daycare runs like a well oiled machine and she is also very caring. I like that the daycare is big enough to give the kids ample socialization with kids their age, but small enough so that all the teachers still know every child there.
We love this school! The teachers are incredibly caring, and the kids spend a lot of time outside. It's the perfect blend of play and learning. Highly impressed. We've been to two other preschools in the area (Aspirations in Carlsbad, and the Encinitas YMCA preschool) and this place is by far, the best.
