The Learning Experience Of Gurnee

We have been nothing but pleased with TLE since enrolling our son (5) in August of 2025. Our son turned 5 in October, just missing the cutoff deadline to start Kindergarten this academic school year. We were looking for a program that would incorporate the childcare we needed with kindergarten preparedness and social readiness, and I can say with absolute confidence, TLE EXCELS with this. He transitioned from a different center (which we also loved but was far from home.) The TLE onboarding process is extensive, they want to know as much as possible about your child before starting. The staff in Gurnee is fantastic. Even the teachers and staff who are not in our son's classroom know him, and us, by name. In his classroom with Ms. Brianna (Bri) and Ms. Keke, he is growing by leaps and bounds. Their curriculum is ROBUST and communication through the app and texting is fantastic. We receive feedback daily at pickup on his day, anything of note, things to work on at home, etc. Ms. Bri and Ms. Keke were patient with him as a transitioning student and understood that the first few weeks of learning new friends and new routines can be difficult for young brains, and they did a wonderful job of easing that as much as possible. It is obvious that Ms. Bri and Ms. Keke, along with all of the staff at TLE truly care about children and our child. They encourage multi-faceted learning, individuality, routine building, independent thinking, and creativity. Their curriculum and routine has given him the structure he needed in the learning environment, and I have noticed him building routines to follow at home, certainly as a result. I have no doubt our son will continue to grow and learn through his brief time at TLE before he starts kindergarten in the fall of 2026. Staff is responsive, open to feedback, willing to give feedback and coaching, and ask questions if they need more information. The building is secure with geofencing, and check-in/check-out procedures are efficient. I appreciate their willingness to always give an extra hand... my FIL drives our son to school often and uses a wheelchair for mobility. They have told us on numerous occasions if he calls when he arrives they will assist with getting our son inside and checked in, which is so appreciated during periods of inclement weather. We LOVE TLE! Our 2yo has been going here for the past few months and we truly are so thankful we found such a safe and loving environment for her to spend her mornings! We love that they have 1/2 day enrollment options, a secure entrance, and an app so we can see cute pictures throughout the day! Everyone is always so welcoming when we check-in, and they even say hi to our son who doesn’t even go there! Ms. Eniko is our favorite and you can tell she really loves her job!

We love The Learning Experience. Our little one has learned a lot, they are always so nice all the staff. They go above and beyond for the kids as events to daily routines. We have taken our son to more day cares in Gurnee and honestly they were horrible experience. Glad we found the one for our little one. We highly recommend The Learning Experience. Best day care in Gurnee!!!!
