I would seek alternative care if your babes are under a year old. We only kept our infants here for two months until we could find something different. The center is often out of ratio in the infant room with up to six babies for one staff person. In the two months we were there we noted four days this happened.
The Hop has been a great fit with our family! Our kids have attended the Hop for more than 4 years. Both have been through the preschool program and were more than prepared for kindergarten. The kids went on several field trips during the year, celebrated every holiday as a group, had outside time every day (weather permitting), practiced yoga, and even karate! We have never had any issues with the staff and felt very welcome when we chaperoned the field trips. They have been very flexible with scheduling as long as we give them at least 24 hours notice; it is only fair to give them as much notice as possible. Their prices are reasonable considering snacks and meals are included. I have recommended the Hop to many people based on our experience.
The owner and her daughter are very rude. They charge ridiculous late fees even if you are only a few minutes late due to traffic. Their prices are very high in general. They lie about things and the way they respond to reviews is very unprofessional in itself. My son has told me things they say about me after I drop him off and he has told me they are mean and yell at the kids a lot. 10 out of 10 do not recommend.
I sent my son over the summer and when he started school he was ready. The things that he learned over the summer and interacted with other kids he was ready for school. He is excited every morning to be dropped off when he is waiting for the bus. I also send my daughter everyday and the things that she learns and watching her with her friends is amazing. I could not ask for a better daycare or a work place to be. I also work with these child everyday and watching them grow and being able to also teach them is amazing. Thank you for such a great place for my kids to be and to work for as well.
Julie is extremely rude and unprofessional! She overworks her employees at very very little pay. She knows when the kids have sicknesses and still allows them to come to the day care getting everyone else’s children sick. She just cares about the paycheck and not the actual well being of the kids or her employees. 0/10 so not recommend. I’m surprised this place hasn’t been shut down.
