I’ve had an extremely disappointing experience with this daycare. They have shown a clear disregard for a father’s rights and have failed to follow court orders regarding custody and pickup arrangements. If you don’t have a cooperative co-parenting relationship, I would strongly advise against choosing this daycare. It often feels like they side with whichever parent complains first, which is both unprofessional and unfair. Despite my consistent efforts to support my child — even on days that aren’t technically mine — I’ve been treated as if my rights don’t matter. The daycare claims that “safety” is their top priority, yet their actions tell a different story. They seem to overlook valid court documentation and fail to recognize an involved, caring parent when it matters most. Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. Parents, please choose wisely.
When my kids first started Everything was Wonderful!! Since they where bought out by this new company Everything went downhill. Less than 1 year, my kids had 4 different directors. Different teachers every other month. Really no consistency. They lost their VPK services. There is only 1 consistent teacher left and she is phenomenal towards the kids. Their cook was out on leave for over 4 months, instead of hiring someone or sending someone from their agency, they made the teachers cook and teach kids. The new director seems nice, however she is not the permanent person and the company is looking for a new one. The kids need consistency and as of now, this is something this facility does not have.
My daughter is 5yo and this is her first year at camp at Bright Beginnings. She has ADHD and was disruptive during her VPK year so I was pretty skeptical that she could make it through summer camp. But I was very surprised at the love, understanding and patience shown by her teachers from the very beginning. Ms. Leslie has been awesome with her as have all the other teachers. I'm glad I chose Bright Beginnings for her summer camp before kindergarten.
First of all, Tiffany’s attitude sucks and her rudeness stinks. At first when my daughter first started here, I didn’t know much but I felt it’s a cool place. But as it’s said, “time shall tell”. So within 2 weeks of our resumption, my child changed different classes. Note: The space is clean but the management is disorganized when it comes to kids classroom (e.g) I will drop my kid off at blue room and when I go to pickup, he will be in yellow room or any other rooms as all the rooms are color coded differently and this is currently going on as of April, 2025. They lack continuity & staff and so they join children of different ages after you drop off in the morning. If you doubt me, take them unawares and do a very early pickup of your child. You will be shocked at what you will see. They keep confusing the kids changing their classroom and friends. Again, I want to remind you that our kids are on their own after drop off. The staff do not care about your kid or my kid at all… it took me time to observe and arrive at this conclusion. My child came in 5mins after 9am just when other kids started eating and the lady asked him to go sit on the floor and start playing with toys, while the others were eating. Making my child watch while his peers ate. When I asked why, she told me because she came after 9am and she will not join others to eat because she was late for breakfast and will delay others… while I was still there, she was refilling other kids food while my poor toddler was isolated on the floor, that alone broke me into pieces. I wept for my child and left! Countless time I was in for drop off and have found kids fighting, screaming on each other and the staff was just their doing her thing… No redirecting, no pacifying, no rocking the child or consoling the child. My child is potty 80% potty trained and most times she goes to the bathroom herself but she will need assistance afterwards but the way his pants will be positioned whenever I pickup him up shows me no staff, teacher or grownup assists him dressing backup after using the toilet. I once saw dried poop on my child’s pants ; you know what that implies … I don’t not want to talk about how messy and dirty those children’s face always look with snot. Dried tears and massy nose with spit/snots.… they do not clean them up at all. ALL THOSE KIDS hired THERE AS STAFF also needs a nanny them selves. They DO NOT CARE about our child at all and so I pulled out my daughter asap. I don’t know what happened behind closed door with those kids but you must take your child’s matter seriously. This is my own undiluted and blunt review.
As a parent when I imagine my child going to daycare, I look for my child to be safe, learning, and come home happy each day. I can say Bright Beginnings Academy provides that to parents to give you a peace of mind while your child is in their care. The teachers are very personable and give you daily/personalized reports of your child to keep you updated throughout the day. I couldn't ask for more! Thank you for all you do!
