The Goddard School

We’ve had two children enrolled in the Goddard School in State College. Our first started in the Pre-K room, and I’m so happy we switched to Goddard at that time because we felt that it fully prepared our son for Kindergarten. He is now happy and thriving in first grade. Our second child started in the infant room and will go through all of the classrooms until she starts Kindergarten. We very much appreciate the level and quality of communication from the office to parents. We are never left in the dark about what is going on at the school regarding everything from security issues, illnesses, or upcoming events. A high level of care is given to curriculum and social development. I feel that my children are in a nurturing environment with quality teachers who understand the needs of young children. I feel confident that our second child will also enter Kindergarten ready to succeed.

We truly enjoyed our experience at The Goddard School. The teachers are caring, attentive, and responsible, and they create a wonderful atmosphere for learning and growth. The environment is always clean, safe, and inviting. Our two-year-old has absolutely thrived here and we’re so grateful for the support the school provides.

The staff at Goddard School in State College have been very welcoming, genuine, accommodating, and communicative as my son transitioned from an in-home daycare to Goddard at 16 months old. We had just moved to State College from Maryland, so this was a big transition for our family. The staff and directors have been amazing at answering calls (esp during the first week) when I was checking on my son to see how he was doing. The activities, outdoor time, and quality of the facility, safety, and care, is exceptional as well. Would highly recommend!

The experience that our daughter had at The Goddard School State College was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew that it was the right choice for our family. As a parent, nothing gives me greater peace of mind than knowing that our child is in good hands. Our daughter was 4 months old when she started at Goddard. We loved seeing her big smile in the morning for her teachers at drop off. It is great to have that sense of security when you drop your child off at school every day. The teachers encouraged activities in the infant room that helped with her development of growth and provided amazing feedback daily. The staff at Goddard are exceptional in every way possible. They are caring, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure that each child in their care feels valued and loved. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care and attention that they have provided for our daughter.

We throughly enjoy Goddard. My child has a blast. They have activities that break up the weeks and seasons. The staff treat us with respect. And there are plenty of activities that keep parents involved in their children’s early education!
