We have two littles going through Goddard School of Overland Park and we couldn't be happier with our experience here. The owner and administration are very involved with the children and families; they are the first to greet you every day at pick-up or drop-off. Every teacher, no matter if they have had my children in class or not, knows our daughters by name, and our girls love them all. A lot of the staff have been here for years and seem to love it here! We love that this is a small facility, allowing our children to stay with the same kids year after year, making transitions to new classrooms so easy! My 2.5-year-old blossomed after coming here at 15 months and, on top of everything else she's learned, she is already learning Spanish and sign language. It can be so scary leaving your children (especially an infant) in the care of others but when my maternity leave was ending, I never once worried about enrolling our new baby. I knew that she would be safe and loved here, just as her sister is. We toured a lot of places and had been enrolled in a Montessori before finding this school. We now commute in from Lees Summit to be able to keep our children enrolled here and haven't once considered looking for something closer to home - I can't fully express how thankful I am to have found this school and these people.
I cannot recommend this place enough. The staff has become like family to us. They’ve been so accommodating with our unfortunate life circumstances and we’re so grateful to them. They’re very attentive, supportive and SO caring to our baby. We LOVE the Goddard family and very lucky to have found them.
We’ve had our three kiddos funneling through The Goddard School of Overland Park for the past five years, and it has truly been a pleasure working with both the teachers and the administrative staff. I’m continually impressed by how they go above and beyond in so many areas, both educationally and within the community. Every morning, we feel genuinely welcomed and supported by the entire team. Even the school chef knows my children by name and greets us with a smile each day. Two of my kiddos who have moved on to kindergarten were exceptionally well prepared, and I credit that entirely to their time at Goddard. We’re so grateful for the care, attention, and quality education our family has received here. I don’t think I could offer a higher recommendation.
