We transitioned our 4 year old son from another local daycare about 10 months ago. Wish we had done it sooner! The teachers he has had (Ms. Courtney, Ms. Angela and Ms. Tina) have all been incredible! Kind, patient, and strict when need be- exactly what he needs! He has flourished under their care and we have been amazed at everything he has learned! He went from not knowing his letters to being able to identify all letters, write his name, and is starting to yell out sight words when we read at home or drive! He loves going to school, which hasn’t always been the case. We also love that Mr. Bryan is so hands on- he is very involved on the campus and we know this helps the team feel supported and keeps morale high! We actually moved to Denver about a month ago and make the 45 minute drive (traffic - yuck)!) to come here because we love it so much!!! 5 stars isn’t enough for this wonderful place!!! 👏
Goddard Cornelius has been the best choice we could have possibly made for our 13 month old son. The teachers are so communicative as well as the admin that keep us involved and posted about everything going on at the school. Our son waves at the admins at the front desk in the morning and is so excited to see his teachers every day. The security in place puts my mind at ease, I feel like our son is safe when we drop him off every day. The energy of the entire staff is so reassuring and refreshing. Our kid is a stage 5 clinger and it only took a few weeks (he’s part time, MWF) for him to not shed a tear and wave goodbye at me when I’m dropping him off because he’s so excited to see everyone in his classroom. The tuition is one of the best we found out of the 8 daycares we had toured and we loved they offered a part time option. Cannot recommend enough!
My son is thriving here. We love all of the teachers. I do wish they had healthier lunch options but it’s not a big deal because I can still pack a lunch for my son. We love Goddard.
We loved our experience at the Goddard School. Everyone on the staff is so warm, caring, and happy. We always felt like my child was not only safe and cared for but loved by the girls at the front desk, the teachers, and the other children. The owner is also always on site and would greet us coming in or as we were leaving. There truly is something special about this school.
It took us a long time to have the courage to post this. We were really excited to hear The Goddard of Cornelius had an opening due to their reputation. We potty trained our son, who has special needs, to be able to be eligible for his classroom. He started at the end for September 2023 and we got a call at the beginning of October 2023 that he was being dismissed indefinitely. His items were outside the classroom and when my husband, carrying our 1 month old, arrived, no one said a word, he picked up everything, and went to the car. When the staff was asked why nothing was said in person, “he didn’t look like he wanted be approached.” Enough said…if you understand, you understand.
