The Goddard School

Goddard has been an awesome environment for our 18-month old since he started at 8-months. The curriculum has given him so many great skills during his time and the school seem to have an abundance of dedicated staff. The way our son acts at school speaks volumes to how comfortable he is with his teachers and friends whereas he’s otherwise pretty shy outside school and home. We feel so lucky to have found such a great center.

I couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Goddard School! Our 3-year-old son has grown and learned so much since starting here. He absolutely loves his teacher and gets excited to go to school every day. The staff is always so kind, welcoming, and truly cares about each child. The curriculum keeps him learning and curious, but what I love most is how nurturing they are and how much they focus on the kids’ emotional well-being. It really feels like a family, and we’re so thankful my son is part of it!

We have been so grateful for the exceptional care the Goddard School has provided our family. We love his teachers in the infant room: Miss Krystina and Miss Mandi. I truly have appreciated their care. I highly recommend!

My son has been attending The Goddard School of Canal Winchester since last year and we are very pleased with the on-site owner, Heather, as well as the director, Barbara. Not to mention we adore the staff. Teachers are friendly and smiling everyday. Other families are friendly and approachable. There is a true sense of community here. Most importantly - staff is educated, trained, and up to date on certifications. We have not experienced issues with high turnover in our time at the school, which is always a great feeling.

My husband and I enrolled our daughter when she was 3 years old. At the time we were first time parents. This was the first time she had ever been under the care of others, outside of family so we were extremely nervous. The school uses an app, Tadpoles to provide pics of our daughter through the day, let us know what she ate for lunch, and showed us how much fun she was having while learning and playing with friends. Her preschool teacher Ms. Melissa was amazing, and ended up being her Pre-K teacher along with Ms. Kenzie. The school made the transition so smooth and left us feeling comfortable and confident that our daughter was in good hands from the first day! The school is a bit pricey, (but so everything in this economy) however, it’s totally worth the investment. Our daughter was enrolled for 3 days a week when she was in Pre-K, and learned just as much as her classmates that were enrolled full time. By the time she graduated, she could identify letters/sounds, read sight words, recognized numbers, do basic addition/subtraction. She was ready for kindergarten! Over the summer, the kids have water days, guest visits, Kona Ice and much more. The school offers Parents Night Out which is great for parents to squeeze in date night, or just quiet time for yourself rather your a single parent or a married couple. Even more of a plus, you can bring siblings even if they don’t attend Goddard. All of the staff/teachers make you feel like family. You can tell the teachers love and care about your children. The front office staff, Mrs. Barbara, Mrs. Heather, Ms. Alyssa, and Ms. Catie are all so kind. Our middle child doesn’t attend Goddard but will be enrolling. I can’t thank Goddard enough for providing a nurturing learning environment for my child. I also appreciate that there isn’t a lot of staff turnover, which should let you know that the staff are well taken care of. Enroll your child! You won’t regret it!
