I physically can't say enough good things about this school. My daughter is 3 and is always so happy to come here in the mornings to see her friends. Not only is she learning things, but she is now showing an improvement in socialization and confidence. We know that toddlers can be crazy and messy, but on days that she completely ruins her hair, her teacher does it for her again. She looks in the mirror at home and calls herself "so beautiful". Every day at pickup she tells us she had "so much fun". Prior to Goddard, we tried another facility that left us with low expectations and broken hearts. My child went there for 2 days and that was enough for us. I'm so sincerely grateful for Mrs. Rachel getting us enrolled so quickly. This isn't just a childcare; this is fully educational and hands down the only place I will ever recommend.
From the first day we joined, the staff knew us immediately. They great by name every day and are so warm and welcoming. I noticed so many progressions in our child’s development within the first week. Our child, while small, clearly loves going to school every day.
Unacceptable Handling of Missed Personal Items and Lack of Accountability I had a deeply disappointing experience at Goddard. After my daughter was absent one day, Rachel the owner took her blanket and pillow home to wash in their PERSONAL family washing machine—without any communication to me as the parent. I was never notified, and when my daughter returned to school, her items were still at the Rachel’s home. No alternative bedding was provided, and my child was left cold and wet all day during nap time. The first thing she said to me when I picked her up was, “Mommy, I’m cold.” After requesting a meeting, I did receive apologies for forgetting Shiloh but I was shocked that this behavior was brushed off as “being busy.” That is not an acceptable excuse when it comes to my child’s comfort, safety, and hygiene. If you own a daycare the children always should come first even if operations are hectic. Furthermore I expect any childcare center to follow standard health and safety policies—not to send students' belongings home with staff for personal laundering. That is just nasty to me I had no idea what her home environment was or even what laundry detergent she was using. I immediately terminated my daughter’s enrollment after this incident. My daughter is 4 years old and can not take care of herself enough to be left here. For the price you pay I would strongly caution other parents to ask tough questions before trusting this school with their child.
The most perfect place to take care of your little one. Our son started daycare after 21 weeks at home with mom and the transition has been so smooth! The teachers 100% are the reason he is comfortable and happy to be there. At 5 months old I can tell how much he has already learned since being home with me. Having the App is also a great feature to see pictures of what they did that day and see how their day went with diapers, feeding and sleep! All the future Wilson kids will be attending the Goddard school.
My daughter used to fight and cry about going to daycare. Then we got her into Goddard and we have absolutely no issues. She loves getting up in the morning and going to school to see her teachers and her classmates. Every day she comes home and talks about her teachers. My daughter actually acts like her teachers at home. We have to play school at home and she always wants to be the teacher.
