Absolutely only have great things to say about the Goddard school and Robert the owner! Our son is now in second grade and we had a conference and he is well above the National average for his test scores. While attending the Goddard school we had nothing but excellent teachers, great communication, and a truly wonderful learning environment for our child. Our son asks daily to stop in there to say hi to everyone! The Goddard school will always hold a special place in our hearts.

She truly takes the time to connect with each child, which is so reassuring as a parent. Owner, Robert is equally commendable—he’s knowledgeable and always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The combination of their efforts creates such a positive and welcoming environment for families.
The Goddard School in Avon is truly top-tier, and one of the best early childhood development schools in the area. My score is based on my personal experience, having both of my kids enrolled here. I highly recommend the school to family and friends because they consistently go above and beyond to help the children excel. The daily schedule is packed with a variety of activities, offering kids the opportunity to play, socialize, and learn simultaneously. They regularly host special guests, such as the local fire department and zoo staff who bring in animals, which adds a fun, educational twist to their day. They also partner with external vendors, offering activities like soccer or karate, allowing kids to participate in extra programs. I’ve noticed my children come home counting, singing, and even using sign language, which has been a wonderful tool when they were not yet able to speak. We've developed strong relationships with many teachers, and even after some of them moved on in their careers, we've stayed in touch. The school also holds picture days and sends daily photos, which is such a nice way to stay connected while at work. The staff and owners are committed to each child's success. If any issues arise, they work closely with parents, offering advice and support on how to address certain behaviors. Their regular progress updates are especially valuable since our kids spend so much time with them during the day. One thing I really appreciate is the school’s transparency. Whether it’s emergencies, staffing issues, or health concerns, they communicate promptly. They also ensure that teachers aren’t overwhelmed by keeping class sizes manageable, which shows their dedication to maintaining a positive environment. Overall, The Goddard School is fantastic, and I can’t recommend it enough!
I cannot say enough great things about Goddard in Avon! My son is currently in the turtles classroom and has been attending Goddard since January of 2023 and we absolutely love it! His teachers Ms. Kaitlyn and Ms. Amber are amazing! They are very kind, attentive and caring towards all the kiddos. Even the other teachers in different classrooms know my son by his first name. Not only are the teachers hands on with learning and teaching my son, but the owners, Robert and Eileen are hands on as well and on site every day. They are wonderful at leading the school and take not only my son’s welfare seriously but the welfare of every child that attends Goddard. I love that the school has different learning curriculums each day for the kiddos. My son has tremendously improved in his learning with not only all things preschool, but specifically in his communication and speech/language skills. When he started at Goddard in January of last year, my son was only speaking a couple words at a time and had a vocabulary of around 50 words. He is now speaking in sentences and his vocabulary is well over 200 words! Goddard also offers different activities at the school that parents have the choice to enroll their kids in such as Crouching Tigers martial arts and Soccer Shots just to name a couple. My son has enjoyed his Crouching Tigers class since May of last year! He has learned many different martial arts moves and can also count to 10 in Japanese! I have been extremely happy with our experience at Goddard in Avon and could not imagine my son going to school anywhere else. He is so excited each morning to go to school and see his friends and teachers! I know that when I drop my son off at school he will be safe and well-cared for. Those are the most important things to me as a parent and I wouldn’t have him anywhere else. If you are in need of childcare and have not checked out this awesome school, I would definitely do so now!
Goddard school in Avon is the best daycare in Avon. I have to kids that went there and now my youngest is going there. Even thought, I have moved out of Avon to Indy, I still kept my youngest as I trust the owner Mr Robert and his wife Eillen. They are family oriented. Also, I have met a lady in Indy who told me that her child went there and it was the best investment she had mad for her kid.
