The Goddard School

I am so thankful for the wonderful staff of Goddard. My daughter has been attending Goddard for a little over a year and the love and community they surround my baby with is incredible. The admins and teachers are so kind, present, and have created such a warm space for our babies to not just grow, but to be enriched and loved. Thank you, Goddard, for cultivating this beautiful community!

Our son has attended Goddard since he was an infant to the Pre-school 1 (Bridge) class. It has been a wonderful experience. He has grown in so many ways. He loves his fellow classmates and speaks highly of his teachers. Goddard has a wonderful facility where the classrooms are spacious and clean. They had an very cool mural that depicted the city itself. The playgrounds are nice and safe for the kids to play on. There are generally enough parking for drop-off and pick-up. The enrichment programs provide the kids with an opportunity to develop different skills and interests. The best thing about Goddard is its amazing staff. Jamie, the director, made us feel that our son would be safe and cared for from the first day. The administrative staff are fun, approachable, and friendly. The staff creates a balanced schedule that supports a fun and engaging environment for both kids and parents. The teachers do a great job at development of the basic needs of our child. They care for, stimulate and nurture the kids to allow them to grow and learn. The only downside is the traffic surrounding the school, but that's Atlanta for you. As parents, you want to make sure you are making the right choice with daycare and Goddard did that for us. We are very grateful for the impact Goddard has had on our son’s growth.

This review is about two years too late, but I was just thinking back to the great times at Goddard! Our son was at Goddard Midtown from 2 months old through pre-k and was an instant part of their family. We have fond memories of all the teachers and staff and were always treated as one of their own. They set him up for success and he has been thriving ever since. Our daughter was there, as well for two years and it was just as great. We needed to move her closer to our son’s elementary school once his kindergarten started and they were nothing but supportive that what was in our kids’ best interest was the right choice. We have enjoyed our new program and are happy there, as well… but I must say we do miss the daily interactions with leadership and the personal attention that this school gave our family. We love you Goddard Midtown! The Parris family. (Shhh.. don’t tell the new guys. 😂)

We are so grateful for our time at The Goddard School in Midtown. It has been a truly transformative experience for our child, who has grown in every way thanks to the nurturing and dedicated team here. From the start, the teachers have been incredibly patient, caring, and conscientious --- they helped our child with everything from potty training to social-emotional development, always with kindness and encouragement. The environment is warm, structured, and thoughtfully designed to support each child’s unique needs. A special thank-you to Jamie, the administrator, whose leadership is both compassionate and accommodating. She consistently made us feel heard and supported, which gave us immense peace of mind as parents. There are many daycare centers in Midtown — and we explored quite a few — but none come close to the level of care and professionalism we experienced at Goddard. This is not just a daycare; it's a place where children and families are truly cared for. We’re moving on to a new chapter in our life, but we leave with full hearts and deep appreciation. We would wholeheartedly recommend Goddard to any family.

Unwavering Support from an Exceptional Team From day one, the entire team – both the dedicated teachers who are absolutely wonderful and the supportive administrative staff – went above and beyond to help us get her settled and comfortable. Their patience, understanding, and proactive approach made a world of difference. It has been truly remarkable to witness her gaining more and more confidence over the last few weeks, a testament to the nurturing environment they've created. A special thank you goes out to Miss Kelly, whose warm cuddles and consistent reassurance that she's going to have a good day always help put a smile on her face. We're also incredibly grateful to Miss Lauren, who instinctively made our daughter her special helper during a particularly difficult morning drop-off, turning a challenging moment into a positive one. And Miss Katie often goes above and beyond by joining students for lunch, helping to ease any potential difficulties that come with mealtime transitions. Invaluable Guidance and Peace of Mind The Director Miss Jamie’s insights and practical suggestions for managing transitions at home have been invaluable, not only in helping her adjust to school but also in preparing her for Pre-K in the fall. Their guidance has empowered us as a family to support her development holistically. Knowing that my child is happy, thriving, and that her transition is running so smoothly, coupled with the constant support we receive, has provided immense peace of mind. The Goddard School of Midtown has truly exceeded our expectations, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any family seeking a positive, supportive, and enriching early childhood education experience.
