The Goddard School Atlanta Buckhead

We recently toured The Goddard School in Buckhead and were extremely impressed. From the moment we walked in, the environment felt warm, welcoming, and very well organized. The facility is clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed for young children to learn and play safely. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about early childhood education. They took the time to answer all of our questions and clearly explained the curriculum, daily structure, and communication process with parents. It’s obvious that they prioritize both academic development and social-emotional growth. What stood out most was how engaged and happy the children seemed in their classrooms. The learning activities looked fun, hands-on, and age-appropriate, and the teachers interacted with the students in such a caring and attentive way. Overall, we left feeling confident and excited about the possibility of joining the Goddard community. I would highly recommend The Goddard School in Buckhead to any family looking for a nurturing, high-quality early education experience.

My Son attends the Goddard School of Buckhead and he loves it there. He has been attending for approximately 9 months. He always tells me he likes school and his teachers. I feel he is very safe there. There is an unauthorized and inaccurate statement by his grandmother who does not live in the state on these reviews. It should be completely ignored. That is all l can say without defaming his grandmother.

Amazing daycare! Not just a place to leave your kids but they actually care and teach our kids so much great stuff. The curriculum is great but the staff is what really makes this place special.

Late January 2026, I witness an incident between a child and a teacher. While waiting for nap time to end to pick-up my 2 year grandson, I witness an angry teacher slam a student to the floor mat due to nap-time was not over and she was up. I heard the two year cry due to the inappropriate abusive behavior she received from the teacher. We are concerned, the teacher remains in the classroom; her response; she was overwhelmed. This is a reason to immediately remove the teacher. No training was discussed. My daughter is concerned. As a grandmother, I understand and respect that families make childcare decisions based on many factors, including work responsibilities i.e. Whose going to care for my son while at work. Every parent and grandparent wants children to be safe, supported, and cared for in a nurturing environment. Any allegation involving a child’s safety is taken extremely seriously. When concerns are brought forward, in this case the grandmother and the child's mother, they are addressed promptly and in accordance with all required policies and regulations. The Goddard School reputation should NOT be parents first concern. I appreciate members of our community who speak up when they have concerns, and I remain committed to maintaining a safe, transparent, and accountable environment for every child and family. I , the grandmother do not need permission from the father when I and the child's. mother witness a horrific act of a teacher violent act towards a two year old little girl - yes, we (grandmother and mother) reported this act of violence.

Recently toured Goddard school with my brother. We were seeking placement for my Niece. Tamara was the name of the Supervisor who assisted us. She was thorough and super informative. She made me and my brother feel comfortable knowing that she’ll be in good hands when she starts.
