If anyone is looking for an AMAZING daycare & VPK, Friends Academy is where you need to go. It is a Christian daycare off Dean and Lake Underhill. Both my boys started in the infant room and worked their way up through VPK. They also both attended the summer camp there the summer between VPK and Kindergarten and that was also an amazing experience. I know without a doubt both my boys’ academic & social success stems from the foundation they received at Friends Academy. I will forever and always be thankful for the teachers who have made such an everlasting impact on my boys but I cannot say enough about the director, Mrs. Blakley. She is absolutely phenomenal and I’m so grateful I found this daycare/VPK all these years ago!
My son loves it here, his teachers and the school director made him feel loved and welcome after a big family move. They truly care about their students academic achievements and keep parents updated on daily events. I value open communication, inclusivity, and thoughtfulness, which I have received and more, they are always there for students and parents. Thank you Ms. Amanda, Ms. Angeli, and Ms. Blakley for everything, you have made this year special for our little dude ❤️
I’m so grateful for the friends academy! It was my daughter’s first experience with a school and Ms. Bella + the director helped her adjust in so many ways. They always provided updates and pictures throughout the day which were greatly appreciated 🥰 always meeting any request I had and they were also a huge help with potty training! We found a program closer to home for August but I will always recommend this school to those searching for a Christian education.

It's with utmost confidence and gratitude that I write this review. As a parent, I've entrusted both of my children to the care and education provided by The Friends Academy, and I can attest to the exceptional level of dedication and professionalism exhibited by the staff. The teachers, many of whom have been with the preschool for years, consistently go above and beyond to ensure that every child receives not only a quality education but also love and nurturing care. In fact, this last month our VPK Teacher was awarded 'Teacher of the Month' chosen from 3500 other qualified candidates by the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. The staffs commitment to the children is evident in every aspect of the preschools operations. The Friends Academy isn't just a place of learning; it's a community built on Christian values of love, compassion and integrity. I wholeheartedly recommend this preschool to any parent/guardian seeking a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for their child's early years.
The Friends Academy is a place where your kids will be safe and secure! I’ve been with Friends Academy for 7 years! My girls love it here! They have an amazing staff! The teachers here are hard working and dedicated. My kids learned a lot attending here. I have no complaints at all. Their summer camp program is excellent and the rates are reasonable and won’t break your pockets.
