What Parents Say
Trinity Child Development Center in Orlando receives mostly positive feedback, with parents praising the quality of staff, teachers, and facility. However, one parent reported significant difficulties with admissions communication and responsiveness. Most reviews highlight the center as an excellent choice for early childhood education with strong emphasis on child development and healthy nutrition.
This may well be the very best child development center in all of Orlando and in my experience the very best ever. The staff is top notch, the teachers are superb, the activity is enriching and it even includes VPK. Excellent location on premises of Trinity Lutheran allows for underage pre-K kids to be with Trinity-based siblings which is another great perk.
My children (grades 3 and 5) have been attending this small, Christian school for 3 years and we LOVE it! They are located in the heart of downtown Orlando and have access to many area attractions, such as the History Museum, Dr. Philips of the PErforming Arts and Bob Carr just to name a few. The staff is caring and very knowledgable, we feel like family. This is a hidden gem in downtown!
Trinity is hands down the best child development center in all of Orlando. I have two boys, ages 3 and 6 and we have been at Trinity for four years. While we were on the wait list for Trinity, we had our older son in two other child care centers that were not nearly as wonderful as TLS! First off, the facility is gorgeous, clean and bright and the classrooms are welcoming and well designed based on the age group of the class. But even without the amazing facility Trinity is a very special place (we started at Trinity before the current building was completed, and even in the old houses and portables that they used to operate out of, the Director, staff and teachers were amazing). Patty, the director, has to be the kindest, most hard working person I know and she genuinely cares for each child at TLS. She is so knowledgeable and up to date on all of the most current research on child development and also makes healthy food a huge priority at Trinity which I love. There is a full time chef, Chef Poole, that has been there as long as we have and longer and he prepares healthy snacks and lunches for the entire school. Patty also has an amazing staff that work hard for her and for the kids. I don't know the actual metrics, but the employee retention at TLS has to be way above average for the child care industry, because so many of the teachers that my 6 year old had 4 years ago are still there and are teaching my 3 year old now! The teachers are so loving and kind and they have taught my boys more than I could have imagined they would have gotten out of a preschool. I am so grateful that I have had a place like Trinity all of these years where I could leave my kids to grow, play, and learn knowing that I was leaving them in a loving and safe environment.
I am not sure but just trying to get response from the admissions took 1 year. You go on a tour and will never hear from them. I emailed so many times after the tour and got nothing back. Not very friendly whoever is in charge with the administration.
A casual walk took me to this church. It was nice watching the staff and youth take care of their congregation.
