The Early Learning Center is such a gem. Our daughter has attended for two and a half years so far and loves every moment of her time there. The teachers are wonderful, kind, encouraging, and willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your child succeeds. Our daughter not only learns so much academically, but she has also learned so much socially - there is an emphasis on learning how to be a good friend to all, ways to be a kind/helpful person, and how to contribute positively to your community. The ELC is very communicative with the parents/caregivers and invites families into their little world for school events and holiday celebrations! We couldn’t be happier with this school, and we know our daughter will be more than ready for Kindergarten when the time comes!
The Early Learning Center is such a special place with a wonderful community of parents. Ms. Tammy gives detailed feedback about each student’s progress in her parent-teacher conferences, and the curriculum is tailored to each student’s needs. My son loves going to school, has so much fun there, and is learning important values like being polite. They have a “Mensch board” for students who do kind or generous acts. We are so happy here!
I am so unbelievably happy that I discovered this gem. My daughter was in another preschool where she was clingy and crying daily at drop off, even a year after her start date!! ☹️ I brought her over to the early learning center at Temple Israel and was immediately Impressed. It is a Montessori based program. The classroom is incredibly clean and inviting. There are so many areas for the kids to explore, and the materials are well cared for. I love that the children learn to take out materials and then put them back away exactly the way they found them so their friends could enjoy them as well. Almost immediately, the tears in the morning stopped. She got fully potty trained effortlessly within about two weeks and I think it’s because she finally felt safe and comfortable. The ratio of teachers and volunteers to children is very low so there’s a lot of individual attention. I can’t say enough about how amazing the school is. It is also priced considerably lower than almost every school I looked at!! Thank you ELC!! So happy we found you!!
Our experience at the ELC has been fantastic. Our preschooler is always happy to go to school, has developed socially, emotionally, and academically, and has made good friends. The teachers are experienced, caring, and flexible. They have gone out of their way to help our child feel welcome and to help her grow. I know if I have any questions, they are always available to chat. We are so lucky that we found the ELC!
Jewish or not, there is no better place to send your child in the Seacoast area. The teachers are world class, the facility is safe, clean, bright and warm, and the other families are a joy to be around. My son comes home every day with multiple projects, new words, and stronger interpersonal skills. ELC is everything a parent could want from a preschool. Can't recommend highly enough.
