The Clifton School/The Clifton Site

Have had 3 kids at Clifton. While I was a resident and now as an attending from 3 months old onward. The overwhelming majority of the teachers treat these kids as their own. We LOVE our experience at the Clifton School. Kids are definitely ready for Kindergarten.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at The Clifton School over the years, with one child attending from Toddler 2 through Pre-K and another from Toddler 1 through Toddler 2. Both of our children have been through school changes in the past, but Clifton is the school we’ve remained at the longest, and for good reason. We will truly miss it! The teachers and administrative staff have been consistently caring, attentive, and skilled, even during periods of staff turnover. Our children have truly thrived here. We’re especially grateful to Ms. Sheila, Ms. Nadine, Ms. Brittany, Ms. Anita, Ms. Camellia, Mr. Tra, and Ms. Cynthia for their dedication and warmth. Each of them brought something special to the classroom and made our children feel safe, encouraged, and inspired to learn. A special shout out to Ms. Aleece, the Early Intervention Coordinator, whose support made a huge difference for our older child. The Clifton School’s use of emergent curriculum means there’s always something creative and engaging happening in the classroom. The learning feels joyful and tailored to the children’s interests. The sense of community is strong, the meals and snacks are healthy and thoughtfully prepared, and the outdoor play areas are both beautiful and well-maintained. We’re so thankful for the positive foundation The Clifton School has given our kids—academically, socially, and emotionally. THANK YOU TCS!!

Our daughter attended from May 2023 - May 2024. We began with a decent experience; however, we pulled her before the end of the year because we were very unhappy with our experience. The teachers were not supported, and had no training on critical skills (e.g., behavior management, toilet training). The leadership repeatedly was unhelpful when we brought up numerous concerns through email and in person. I had meetings with the Director who would just say “we hear you.” Nothing changed, and our daughter was unhappy to go to school. The teacher turnover was plentiful where our daughter had 3 teachers in 1 year. I expected much more from this school, and we are very happy to have left.

My daughter attended this school for two years. Every teacher she had was exceptional. They obviously truly loved the children in their classroom. The rest of the staff was always friendly and helpful. I appreciated the effort the school made to communicate with parents and make meals with healthy options.

I can hardly overstate the importance of Clifton in my daughter's life. The teacher named Kansha and Shelia tried their best to help my daughter to become accustomed to life here because my daughter was new to the US at that time. What is more, not only them but also other teachers are so passionate and they love kids turely.
