The Children'S Workshop Smithfield

I researched schools for about 8 months until I decided this was the school for our family. They have different programs weekly for the children’s entertainment. All of the faculty members we have encountered are nice and good with the kids. They have fun holiday events. There is definitely ample play space outside with the many playgrounds they have, all fenced in and secure. One of my favorite things is the Kaymbu parent app the teachers use to send daily pictures of our children and their activities. I hope they never get rid of that. A very great school in my opinion! ❤️

Our son attends Cadence Academy in Smithfield and it has beyond exceeded our expectations. As a nervous first time mom, I struggled with the transition to daycare after being home with him. Every teacher at Cadence has shown such care and compassion for our child as if he was their own. It is truly touching to see how much they care for him and even more so to see his face light up when he walks into class each morning. Right now he is in Toddler 2 class and Miss Mare is his teacher. Every day when he walks in he runs over to give her a hug with a big smile. It is amazing to see him come home each day with new skills and Miss Mare has done a wonderful job even coaching us on things we can work on with him at home. After the experience we have had at Cadence, we wouldn’t consider sending our child anywhere else!

Cadence has far exceeded by expectations as a daycare facility for my youngest, 2 years old in the toddler classroom. Sending him here was the best decision! His teachers are warm, loving, communicative, and best of all, take pictures of what he is doing EVERY DAY and upload them to the app. I never have to wonder about what he's doing or how he's doing. He is fed nutritious food everyday and it saves me so much time and energy. It has been a number of years since my older two kids were in daycare so I was very nervous but he adjusted so well and gets excited to go to school now and waves goodbye to me every morning. He comes home singing songs he learns there and gets excited when we pull in each morning. Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!

My grandson attends Cadence Academy, and we are very pleased with all aspects of the daycare.  As a teacher myself, I was happy to learn that it is an educational based facility that exposes children to different aspects of learning through sensory and play. My grandson’s classroom is amazing, with clean and vibrant toys. His teachers are experienced, knowledgeable, and energetic! The school has a positive energy that you feel as soon as you step in. We are very happy to see our grandson getting such a great educational experience at Cadence!

My daughter has attended Cadence Academy in Smithfield since she was 8 months old. It is our first and only childcare experience and it has been nothing short of wonderful over the last 3 years. As a first time parent I was nervous about leaving my infant with someone else, but I was allowed to tour the facility and visit the classroom multiple times before her first day. The experience since that first day has been just as amazing. My daughter has loved every teacher she has had from infants through preschool. The directors Tanya and Ruth go above and beyond to make your family feel welcome and valued. I am confident in the safety measures in place during the pandemic and am grateful for everyone at Cadence who has helped my daughter thrive.
