My family and I moved to the area a few months ago. We contacted children's place for a tour where we immediately felt the love and sense of calmness within the facility. Initially staff was a bit quiet and not as engaging as I would have liked, however after voicing our concerns with the director the issue was addressed instantly. Since then, we have no issues and my 2 year old daughter loves going to daycare. I love the app used and the constant updates. My daughter has learned so much and adores all the staff members.
Love this place! My son started when he was 2 and the teachers, director, and staff have all been friendly and supportive. I love the small class sizes and individual attention my son receives. They genuinely care about all the kids. I feel 100% confident, when dropping my son off, that he is in great hands and will have a day full of fun and learning.
My son and I began our journey at Children's Place 3 years ago. We would never find a better center if we tried. The family atmosphere, the nurturing teachers and the love spread through the building is incredible. I started here as a preschool teacher and my son started in the toddler room. He had a speech delay and was an avid biter. 3 weeks after starting here, he began to improve in speech. He stopped biting and began talking :) his teacher was always so kind, patient and loving. She had a lot in part with helping my son to improve vocally, socially and emotionally. Now he will be attending pre k and graduate in May. My son has friends at Children's Place of different color, race, religion, gender and special needs. None of that matters because all he knows is LOVE. That is what Children's Place spreads.
The teachers truly care and the kids come home with all sorts of cute crafts. The pre-k really prepared my son for full days of kindergarten, and we’re excited for our younger son to start next week. Truly recommend this place.
The director discriminated against my husband and I. On the phone she had a space for my son. We toured the facility and called her back within a few hours to inform her that we would like to enroll him. She never called us back. We left voicemails the next day and the following two days on her voicemail and with an Ashley and she never called us back. My husband called and spoke to someone this morning and she told us to come up and fill out the paper work. I left on my lunch to complete it, the "new" office lady gave us a packet and said to return it. I asked to fill it out onsite because we wanted him to start Monday and she kind of looked frazzled and said she needed to text the director, then suddenly, the director tells her that she filled the two spots yesterday and we could go on a waiting list. We politely declined. I say that we were discrimated against because we are African American and we explained to her that our child was really active and would be working with Child Guidance. I believe we were not called back on for both purposes and that the spot is still available. I will be following up with this with a lawyer. You should not treat people unkind especially with the facility being within a church. Unfortunately, the people seemed kind while giving the tour and its unfortunate that we had to deal with this!!!
