My husband was transferred from NY to NH ten years ago. Both of my children were previously educated in a NY Montessori school > that was highly rated in every aspect. My experience with The Children's House was NOT pleasant. The teacher's were unfriendly, uncooperative and uneducated (I seriously doubt any of them have an education past high school). There was one, in particular, that was extremely tall and had sub par dental care. She expressed her ignorance by her lack of communication skills and intolerance to diversification (the very essence of Montessori) on a daily basis. After many attempts to quell the discord between us, I decided to remove my children and enroll them in public school. Rye public school system is better than this establishment. Do not waste your time or money.
First class preschool for seacoast NH region. Enriching and cozy environment for younglings to develop a positive and productive self. Creative, devoted, experienced, educated, and honest staff that place the needs of kids first, maybe sometimes to the dislike of parents putting themselves first on various issues. Good value too. I put both a girl and a boy through this school from 2008-2014.
