The Children'S Corner

As a Healthcare field worker, not affiliated with this facility ( just an on-looker) I can say without a doubt, if you're lucky enough to engage with Wendy in the dementia unit, or have a family member temporarily residing there... you have yourself a unicorn, of a nurse! I don't think she knows how GREAT she is! I watched and listened repeatedly, time after time. Engage with her residents, with genuine LOVE and COMPASSION, something seemingly, SO hard to find in a lot of today's Healthcare employees. It really moved me. Hats off to you Wendy. You made me feel welcome too, and at ease. Btw facility was clean and well kept. The grounds and landscaping are gorgeous. I witnessed awesome activities for the elderly. They were so excited. Maybe touch up those putting greens in the back! Xo

My review is for the memory support center, where my mother resides. My mother was at willow valley before her memory failed and we were not excited about the rules-filled corporate nature of the community. Moravian manor is the opposite. The memory support facility is modern with a wonderful staff, a small house feel and large comfortable rooms surrounding a central kitchen. I looked at literally 10 facilities in the Lancaster county area offering similar services and found Moravian manor to be the best.

I'm sure it's a nice place but the admissions/marketing person seems to be overwhelmed as she does not return phone calls. Or is not interested in meeting new potential clients Tony A.
