My child starting attending this center October 2019 and stopped attending June 2020. Every day I would drop him off he would cry and that’s not normal. I would wait til about 9 or 10 to drop him off because that’s when he felt most comfortable walking in. Secondly, during the Christmas party I witness children ,toddlers, 3 year old) not being monitored when using the restroom so I took it upon myself to help. Thirdly, my child’s father came in during nap time to drop off treats for the valentine party and saw my son with two other female toddlers standing with their arms out as a form of discipline. When he asked the teacher in the classroom what was going on she told him “I’m on break, you would have to ask the teacher” the teacher then said “he would lay down”. What did it for me was my son coming home with wet clothes and he was potty trained well before he started at the center. My son came home on numerous occasions with poop in his underwear. When I addressed the issue with the director, Ms. Bridgett, she told me they aren’t allow to assist 3 year olds with cleaning their bottom. She said it was my job to teach him. Yes she’s correct but you have my child majority of the day. If I’m doing it at home and he comes to daycare and you’re not following up, it defeats the purpose. I think said as his parent I’m asking can my child be monitored and she politely told me again that’s not their regulations. I use to work in the other center of this childcare center and I was working with my toddlers on potty training and how to properly clean and it’s definitely a DHS regulation. That was the last day my child attended the center.

Today is officially my son's first day there! I'm so excited to be using this daycare. The price is good, the staff is good, the location is convenient for us. The Admin Asst is Ms. Carolyn and she's wonderful! She already knows my son from his other daycare and you can tell she really loves the children. The same can be said about the other staff members as well. The ratio of children to teachers is ideal with 3-4 kids per adult (much better than the required 6 kids per adult per DHS standards). I feel like my son will be well taken care of while there. The owner, Ms. Lisa, seems to really care about the establishment and you can tell it in her employees - Ms. Carolyn, for example, has been there for over 20 years!! I look forward to picking my son up, knowing he was cared for by people that actually like their jobs!

My 9 month old has been going here since she was 3 months, and I couldn't have chosen a better daycare. When I drop her off she's smiling and literally leaping in the arms of the staff, and when I pick her up she's smiling. They treat her so well here and I'm grateful. Home away from home.

When my daughter first started attending this daycare, she was 3. From the first day she started going at drop off she used to scream and cry so loudly because she didn’t want to go in. I just thought it was because it was a new and unfamiliar place, 1 year later and she still cries at the sight of the building. The staff was friendly enough. However my biggest issue was walking in (pre COVID) and watching my daughter get snatched up by her arm for getting out of her seat. I was mortified but the lady was older so I figured she couldn’t keep up with kids. I made a report to the front office and I let it go. Now recently, as in a month or so ago my husband was at a birthday party. One of his cousins told him that there were 2 positive case of COVID at the daycare. They didn’t send a letter home, didn’t call parents. Nothing. I was so livid I could’ve screamed. When I called for clarification, she CONFIRMED that there were 2 cases but that I “shouldn’t be worried because the case wasn’t in her classroom”. This place took the power away from me when determining to keep my child safe. I will never return here because of this.enter at your own risk

My 3 year old grandson attends the center located on West Huron Lane. On today (December 13, 2016) someone took my grandson coat, light jacket and hat from the center. I don't know if it was by mistake or intentional. If by mistake please return items. Whoever took my grandson coat and hat intentional I will gladly purchase a hat and coat for your child if you are in need. It was very cold outside when my daughter picked grandson up after she got off work. She had to take her coat off and wrap my grandson in it so that he could stay warm. Now I'm quite sure you know if your child is wearing a coat and hat that you did not purchase you need to do the right thing and return the items.....Thank You
