The Children'S Academy Of Hopkinsville

I would not recommend this daycare. The owner ( cora) recently had my son at a center of case with the state with his AUNT that worked there due to her own personal vendetta. When reviewed by state even the case worker said this was absurd and dropped everything. And since that did not come out as expected now it seems as if my son is constantly targeted to be “written up and sent home” for not keeping his shoes on, my aom is currently no verbal working with speech and has major sensory issues and currently under evaluation for autism. And does take patience i guess no is capable of. I truly understand state regs . But when ive seen kids doing worse to each other but that is there concerns. BUT when incidents happen it is not prioritized to notify me in a timely manner. Literally days later. But when it comes to a payment she is on top of it. DO NOT get me wrong there are great teachers there and a great director, but better ownership can get this place from failing, one that cares more about the children & employees not her appearance. BUT DO NOT WORRY IF YOU ARE APART OF THE COUNTRY CLUB YOU DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANY OF THIS.

The Children’s Academy is a subpar daycare due to their inability to teach and mold children. With great attractions such as the interior of their building, some may lose focus on what’s important, that being the education of children. My 3 year old son was kicked out of The Children’s Academy after just 4 days of being there, being told that our child was hitting and kicking and wrestling with students. Some may say “well I see why he was kicked out”. But what the “teachers” didn’t look at was his background, this child came from an atmosphere where he only had 1 other kid to play with, and he wasn’t used to the structure of an organized daycare. So once he had these new obstacles placed into his life he was a little overwhelmed. But instead of trying to help this child, The Children’s Academy simply refused him because there “teachers” were unable to mold this young child.

There was a few great ladies working there but overall I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. They will keep your child fed and diapers changed but other than that they will pretty much have to fend for themselves against the other kids
