Tendercare Learning Center #8

I have a one year old son who started almost 2 months ago. To my understanding, he comes home with a new scratch everyday. The same kid scratches him all the time. That one year old room needs an assistant teacher. He has scratches all on his left arm and the right side of his face. After my child being scratched more than 4 times, the director Darlene is just now informing me and reporting an incident report. Please find better childcare for your children. This one isn’t worth it. My child just got scratched last Friday, not even a week later hes scratched again by the same student. The staff lies about taking appropriate matters in disciplining their staff. Poor ratio: 4 students to one teacher but that’s never the case. They sit in your face and act like everything is good and perfect. As soon as you turn your back, your child is just an another addition to the crew. If your child is under the age of 3, I strongly wouldn’t recommend!!!

I have 2 kids that attended this daycare my 1 year old daughter was left un attended several times one resulting in her whole face being scratched up and nothing was done about it. They send kids home filthy and don’t even try to wipe them down. I asked for the supervisor or owners number today and Darlene the director refused to give it to me. I have pulled my kids out of this daycare. My son was disruptive during nap time and I had to pick him up constantly but I don’t think they even tried to work with him because they always called me 30 minutes before nap time starts.

Went here at a very young age, one of the worse experiences I ever had and I will never forget it. I was pinched/dragged by a worker. I am not surprised this place still isn’t doing well.

I don’t agree with a particular review because my child attends this daycare and is autistic and so far everything has been amazing! They have sensory bins, always in ratio and make sure you have all the resources you will need! The director Stacy is AMAZING! She goes over and beyond! The staff is pleasant and professional! I would recommend this day care to anyone.

A lot of mixed reviews when it comes to this center but I wouldn’t blame the center as a whole. A lot of games when it comes to state payments and them wanting extra money but they only treated a certain “group” like that. When my three children attended I felt like they were in good hands and they were safe but that certainly wasn’t the case. My oldest daughter was brutally attacked by another student whom was older than her and special needs but it wasn’t reported to me until a week after , my 3yo son had an incident on the playground that caused second degree scarring on his body and no one knew how it happened and ignored his pain (the skin is still missing and it breaks my heart) and another incident occurred with my 1yo daughter where another employee wiped her hands and face with a Clorox bleach wipe (she has eczema , her skin reacted horribly to that) and I was given the run around about it for a week ! And still no actions were taken behind any of these incidents. I feel like they failed me as a parent but there are other parents with way worse stories. You go through a couple daycares/learning centers before you find the right one. Luckily I found a loving one for my babies and I pray that God blesses the right people to be in the right position to fix this center.
