Little Learners Of Florissant

I went to this daycare Friday November 8th (2024) to get information about the daycare. I got a warm welcome and tour. The staff member (Ophelia) provided a packet of information for my family to complete. On Monday November 11th we came in person to the daycare just to ask questions and drop the packet off to begin the enrollment process. While arriving the heavy set director Kelly assumed my significant other was there to drop off our child. Not sure where that assumption came from being that we are highly educated individuals who comprehend well. We are well aware that our child is not officially enrolled there. Kelly the director was not warm, welcoming or professional. She kept saying “oh no we don’t do next day drop offs! And this packet is not the correct packet!” She had a very nasty tone and attitude. It was a horrible way to greet someone who wanted to give this place business. How could you assume we are dropping off an unenrolled child? This seems like a place with horrible energy. Would not recommend anyone bring their child here unless you want to deal with Kelly’s negative condescending attitude. If the director is horrible I can only imagine what’s accepted by the staff. I’m glad we had this interaction in the beginning because who knows how my child would have been treated while being directed in their care.

I was so comforted after picking up my baby from his first day of care at little learners. Miss Ophelia and Miss Alisha filled me in throughout the day on how he was doing and made sure that I was in the know on how he was acclimating to the new environment. The fact that it is a small school aids in promoting individualized care And relational development amongst all of the kiddos. I was preparing for an emotional and upset baby when arriving to pick him up, but I was so very surprised to see that he was giggly and all smiles went in Miss Roos arms. Thank you so much little learners. I cannot wait to see how much my baby learns and grows within your precious community!

The portly director is rude and very condescending. She had an attitude from the first phone call to the first interaction. I understand everyone is stressed but the lack of people skills raised questions about her ability to be patient with children.

I know the Staff here personally. They love these kids and care for them as they would their own. Always friendly, courteous, but also takes the time to listen to what a child maybe having a problem with. The place is clean and with the problems with the Coronavirus I would not think twice about leaving my child or Grand children here.

The staff here are very nice , friendly , great with the kids . They treat the kids like they very own . They do so much activities with the kids . The daycare itself is so organized, clean, and safe for the kids . When I drop my gbaby off they show her so much love . They help with potty training make sure the kids have clean blankets and nap time . Great meals and snacks for the kids . They go over and beyond for the lil ones . I love it here and my grandbaby does to .❤️❤️
