What Parents Say
Tender Care Day Care receives mostly 5-star reviews praising the caring, professional staff, clean facility, and family-like atmosphere. However, two recent 1-star reviews raise serious concerns about licensing investigations, failure to report incidents to parents, and staff safety issues.
Best daycare 💙 my son went there for almost a year, we moved to the southhill so we swicth, so me and my son can be close to home. I am on my second daycare, it's almost worth the drive to go back to Tender care. CLEAN, LOVING ❤️ I FELT LIKE FAMILY!!! MY SON AND I TRY TO OTHER DAYCARES, WE WHERE GONE FOR A MONTH, NEVER AGAIN MY SON WILL BE THERE TELL HE STARTS SCHOOL. He is happy and safe, I just love ❤️ the staff it feels loving, like family. NUMBER ONE DAYCARE!!!!!!!
We’ve had our son at Tender Care for four or five months now and we love it! The staff is very professional, very welcoming, they take the time to build a personal relationship with the children so our son is happy to be there, and any concerns or scheduling conflicts that have arisen have been dealt with immediately and with care. We’ve been very blessed to have found this place.
Do not recommend!! This daycare licensing is actively being investigated with DCYF due to not reporting very serious incidents involving kids. They do not inform parents when incidents happen and do not document very serious allegations. CPS is involved due to the seriousness of this issue yet there was no incident report for multiple events. After CPS was contacted the daycare started backdating incident reports and making false claims. DO NOT TRUST THIS DAYCARE WITH YOUR CHILDREN. They will not inform you if something serious is happening.
My daughter has been going to this daycare for over 4 years and we both love everyone there. As a first time mom, I was cautious about everything from my daughters first bites of solid food to potty training. The daycare staff and teachers helped tremendously when it came to all of these new stages in my daughters life. Moreover, the daycare curriculum is fantastic, my daughter learns new things everyday and I always get compliments from everyone we meet about how well spoken she is. Kami, the director and Joyce are great and you can tell they uphold a high standard for all of their employees. They only hire the best of the best and you can see that clearly when you get to know everyone. It also feels like a great big family. All of the employees really care for one another. Most importantly, when my daughter is there I know she is loved by all of her teachers! They even get teary eyed when we talk about her moving on to kindergarten. The teachers truly love the children and its a small enough facility that they get to spend quality time with each and every child. The communication with Kami and the teachers is great and I am always informed about what is going on. I can go on and on about how great this daycare is because in the last four years I could still not come up with one negative thing to say. I also wanted to point out that the daycare was really great and continues to be great throughout this COVID 19 pandemic. They remained open and continue to maintain an extremely clean facility. Overall, these days it is extremely difficult to find a trustworthy person to watch and teach you precious children, especially when they are so young. I am writing this so other parents can see what an amazing place this is, and if your children come here for daycare and/or preschool, consider yourself blessed you found this place, I know I am.
My kids both came to this daycare for the last 4 months. They enjoyed it, it was hard to leave to be honest. The office staff were great. I had a hard time swallowing the fact that the father of my children and one of the employees were sneaking around. When confronted they choose to keep the staff member instead of the kids. In my mind I’ve always thought kids come first. In this case that wasn’t it, unfortunately. I gave proof, I let them know my concerns and the option they gave me was to pull my kids from the daycare. I think that the situation could’ve been handled differently. But it wasn’t and that was very sad and I was mostly sad that I had to take my kids out of what was comfortable to them because of an action of an employee.
