My daughter started school at Tauxemont this year and it's been a wonderful experience from the start. Being cared for outside of our home was a new experience for her and a big adjustment but the teachers and community have supported her every step of the way. She loves going to school and we've truly seen her thrive in this environment. Tauxemont also has a great community aspect where everyone participates in helping the school thrive. We get to help in the classroom and beyond and there's an amazing, dedicated board of parents leading it all. We feel a sense of belonging here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, learning space for their children.

We have been sending our little one to Tauxemont for 2 years and plan to return next year. We love this little school in the woods with its philosophy of respecting and trusting children and its evidence-driven focus on play-based learning. The teachers are phenomenal and the community is wonderful. It really feels like a hidden gem in the woods that brings out the magic of childhood and gives parents a chance to witness and participate in these special moments. The grounds are stunning and designed for children to be exploring and learning outside daily.

Great school. This is our third year here (and our first with two kids). Pretty much everyone comes to Tauxemont for the great outdoor, nature-based program...the play-based learning (which is so important for kids)...and for the awesome community of parents. And while those parts are all incredibly important...the thing I've loved best about the school is how thoughtful and responsive the teachers are. Imagine your kid seen for who they are. Not a number, not an average, not a score - but who they are, what they love, and what lights them up. My children have felt SO encouraged and supported at Tauxemont, and they've blossomed because of it. My oldest child's emotional intelligence and empathy have been nurtured from day one at Tauxemont. My younger child is finding a place of real belonging. They're both getting more and more curious about the world around them. Tauxemont is teaching them the same values we try to at home - kindness, curiosity, and self-awareness. And they're doing it while having fun and exploring the beautiful natural world all around them. I'm not sure what more I could want for my children.

We’ve had our kids at Tauxemont for years and have adored it. I love how much time they spend outside and how loving and patient the teachers are. I also really like the chance to volunteer in the classroom. This past year, there have been major changes to staffing and all has gone very smoothly for our 3 year old. She loves her teachers. My older daughter started kindergarten with a wonderful confidence and appreciation of the world thanks to Tauxemont. It’s a magical place!

Our son loves his time at school. We could not ask for more in a learning environment as parents. Tauxemont provides hands on, nature based, and loving learning opportunities. We are so impressed with all the wonderful things he tells us about school not to mention the friendships he’s formed since August.
