Sycamore Academy is amazing have went above and beyond to make my children feel wanted and happy. The teachers are so sweet and treat the children as if they were their own my girls are 4 year old twins they come home everyday so excited to tell me what they did at daycare, thank you guys for making me feel comfortable while I have to work that my children are taken care of!
My son has Autism and had a very hard time going and getting adjusted to public school. Since he has been going here he has done so much better and he loves it and the teachers are great . This was the best thing that we could of done for him. He functions so well here and I like that all of the kids include everyone, no one is singled out. they all get a long. love it.
So we’ve been supportive of Sycamore Academy since before their doors were even officially open. As of yesterday I had 2 kids enrolled full time. Apparently they have switched over to a new chart method for keeping up with behavior. Red is the worst. I was told they would have a chart and it would be recorded in their folder. When I picked my child up his hand had been marked with a large red circle in marker. Red. I sent the following message and in response I get a short, rude message kicking my children out. “I’m not ok with my child being marked to publicly humiliate or shame him though. I understand better than anyone how difficult Emmett can be but it doesn’t make marking his body in any way to label him as the bad kid ok.” Send your kid if you want to spend a small fortune to have your child mistreated and owners who couldn’t possibly be any less professional than they are! Update - as of today 1/30/2019 We still have not been given a reason as to why my children were kicked out or if they will be issuing a refund for the unused days. They have also disabled the reviews on Facebook to hide their unacceptable ways of conducting business and “teaching” children.
