Sweetie P Day Care Learning Center LLC

Absolutely love this place, my daughter had her last day today she’s starting school she’s been at Sweetie P since January. The owner has been my saving grace along with her other employees. They go above and beyond for their students and parents. My daughter enjoyed going there as well she would be excited to go to bed so we could go to “Mrs Shauna’s house” in the morning. She loved playing outside on the seesaw, coloring, playing with her friends, and the Barbie house! I love the arts and crafts they do and bring home it’s adorable. I’m really grateful for the time we had there!

I love this daycare. My children have been attending since they were new born. The owner is hands on with the children she provides support to not only our family but in our community. I know when I drop my kids off they are in great hands. They learn,play, and develop skills to encourage learning/development.

DO NOT GO HERE. First of all, no matter what you are talking about, the owner has zero listening skills. She will talk over you 100% of the time. I have no clue how she ever got into this position, talking with the public. My son has a heart condition but she wouldn’t listen to what it was (which is SVT, he just needs cold water on his face to come out of it, easy) but she wouldn’t listen so she just kept saying she was going to call 911 if it got triggered because they weren’t “trained” to deal with it. *Also, my son is 9 and knows how to deal with it himself. He just needs someone to take his heart rate and make sure it’s going down.* Then, right after I left, she left without telling ANY of the staff about his heart condition! When I called him at lunch and told him a staff member needed to check his heart rate, the lady that was there had no clue what was going on. His heart rate was over 120 and she told him that she needed to finish cleaning before she could deal with him! I had him put me on speaker and I told her no, you need to be helping him get his heart rate down! So we left and I was never going to go back, but we ended up in a situation and I was desperate, and he’s old enough that he pretty much just watches himself, they just let him play on his phone all day, so I called and left a message to make sure he was still with them, and she never called me back, so I show up early in the morning, needing to get to work, and she doesn’t open the door but keeps us out in the cold while talking to me over the intercom telling me that she dropped my son from her system because I was rude to her staff member but also telling me she was going to see if he was still in the system, while making us stand out in the cold and wait while she is once again not listening to me AT ALL, but talking over me the entire time saying that I never swiped my card so she never got paid, when she stood there and watched me swipe my card and said it was fine, every freaking time I was there. Then she just keeps ranting about the staff without ever allowing me to talk to tell her my son was in an SVT episode and her staff member wouldn’t assist him, but telling me that they aren’t trained for that, only SHE is trained for that, but she leaves for the whole day, so why would you agree to take my kid in the first place? And lastly, I was paying for part-time, which was 10 days a month, my son was there for 4 days and she said with the weekend days (that he wouldn’t be there) that would take up the 10 days. THEY AREN’T EVEN OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS. I have no clue how 4 days turned into 10 days. In the end, she couldn’t figure out how to talk to me so we could fix the payment issue. She literally wouldn’t even let me try because she just completely takes the entire conversation, so I just left and ended up going to The Hangout, which was SO AMAZING! Can’t recommend that place enough. One more thing; The place is insanely dark. They have no windows and no playground so the kids are stuck inside all day everyday in front of a TV. My son said they didn’t do anything else. No crafts, no games, no educational play, nothing. They just sit around all day.

Not worth our time, removed kids from their services. So been a month at new daycare and strongly recommend another daycare, especially after being exposed to more. I thought this daycare was okay but now I know the difference from happiness in my children. I noticed huge differences and they actually want to go to daycare now and say I want to play with the teacher. Had the opposite reaction from sweeties with my children.

Sweetie P's is the best daycare I have ever taken my daughter to. Shaunna Holloway, the owner, LOVES these kids as though they are her own family and treats them accordingly. I have known adversity and poverty in my life. I don't even realize if clothing has a hole or a stain, you know? 1 day I unknowingly sent my daughter to Sweetie P's with a hole in her shirt. Sweetie P's sent my child home with a BRAND. NEW. WARDROBE. Tagged and ALL! I thanked them a million times and cried abt it lol. If any issues/concerns/questions present themselves, Shaunna will address them in a timely, professional manner. Trust and BELIEVE if she can't solve it she will find the person who can. My child learned SO much here: sharing, manners, socialization....She was always so excited to show me her little friends and toys at the daycare. I actually Trust Shaunna with my child more than my own family! Lol. My child entered the daycare every morning with a smile on her face, ready to start the day. Sweetie P's gave me TOTAL PEACE OF MIND when my child was in their care. I never once had to worry if my child was fed, clean, or having fun.
