Sweetheart Daycare is such a wonderful daycare center. My children wake up excited to get to "school" which is a clear testament to how the owner runs the facility and the terrific people she employs. Their balanced approach to early childcare is exactly want I had hoped to find in a daycare and my children have absolutely thrived becasue of it. Imagination and play is strongly encouraged, yet is matched with social and emotional skill development. Aside from that, there is a true since of community between the children, their instructors, and the parents. Long story short, we feel incredibly lucky to be a part of the Sweetheart family.
My son has gone here a couple days a week since he was two, and he's four and a half now. He has always received loving care in a relaxed environment. Kids of various ages play freely for much of the day (self-directed play being a big plus both for my kiddo and me), he gets read to and learns songs and such, a nutritious lunch and snack is included, and he socializes with friends and caregivers. Basically, it's excellent-quality care that's flexible and affordable. 🍬💗
Sweetheart day care provides a very unique and excellent child care experience. It incorporates all children into one place (rather than separating them by age group), to provide a family aspect. I still think that I am smarter now because I went here.
I went when Joan was the owner(The original) Marianne, Joannie and some other amazing staff. She would ways take us on weekly field trips (bowling, swimming lessons in the summer, Dairy Queen, Planet fun, museums, the zoo.) It was a great place to be!
